I would like to see how Barnes and Wood play together as twin strikers. So it's a 4-4-2 lineup for my team tomorrow.

Re: Your team vs Everton
Whatever line up starts Hendrick will play. Difficult one as Westwood was my MoM last week.
Pope
Lowton..Tarks..Mee..Ward
JBG..Westwood..Cork..Lennon
Hendrick
Wood
GKNK to get 30mins after his two midweek goals and reportedly a good performance.

Love to see Tarks and Wood in the line up, Hendrick could do with a rest, Westwood deserves a start on last weeks performance, the rest as per usual

Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Ward
Lennon, Westwood, Cork, Marney, JBG
Wood
Marney is who we need to hold the midfield if we are going to make best use of Cork to provide a supportive role to Wood.

Any team without Hendrick in the starting 11 would please me. I expect it'll be the same 11 though.

Oh, there`s no doubt at all you`re bang on the mark.
The lowest home scorers in the league who really struggle to score against the strugglers in the Premier League and there won`t be a change in sight. Let`s hope the Portugese fresh air finally kicks in and kick starts our season again. I`d like to see a striker given a chance who hasn`t had one yet, but he won`t. Just for the sake of it though...
Pope
Lowton Long (would love Tarkowski) Mee Ward (Taylor SO unlucky to be dropped though)
Lennon (right winger, play him there) Cork Westwood Gudmundsson
Wells Wood

Think if it was down to me (thankfully it isn't), I'd go for a line-up like this:HiroshimaClaret wrote:Oh, there`s no doubt at all you`re bang on the mark.

Lennon Cork Westwood GK/Arfield (If fit)
Gudmundsson
Wood
4-4-1-1
Dropping JBG back into a midfield 5 if we go ahead or start getting swamped in midfield. Not seen enough of Wells to warrant him starting in my opinion. I think Barnes is a great addition if we are chasing a game, but not if we're attacking going for the first goal.

I would like to see Wood start up front but I think the team will be:
Pope
Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Ward
Lennon, Westwood, Cork, Hendrick, JBG
Barnes

Lennon, Westwood, Cork, Hendrick, JBG
Barnes
Re: Your team vs Everton
Does it really matter what we all would like as a starting 11 when we have a manager who doesn't believe in change or different tactics. Same as Hendrick first name on team sheet just as Boyd was.

Re: Your team vs Everton
Absolutely, because he really is a poor manager isn't he? Imagine, stubbornly playing players who shouldn't be in the team because he doesn't believe in change. Clearly going nowhere with him. Do you think he'll ever get us out of League One?Safron wrote:Does it really matter what we all would like as a starting 11 when we have a manager who doesn't believe in change or different tactics. Re: Your team vs Everton
Funnily enough, I'd have Boyd back tomorrow if it was to play him in the so-called No 10 position. He'd be good for 5 goals at least (IMHO, of course).Safron wrote:Does it really matter what we all would like as a starting 11 when we have a manager who doesn't believe in change or different tactics. Re: Your team vs Everton
Some happy clappers out, who can't stand constructive criticism and see any as negative.
I'd like to see:-
Pope
Lowton Tarks Mee Ward
Lennon.Westwood ( Hendrick would also be ok) Cork Arfield
JBG
Wood (Harsh on Barnes)
In fact anyone of JBG, Arfield, Barnes, Lennon, GKN or Vokes behind Barnes instead of Hendrick and that is for the lad's own sake as well as the teams. Poor management to keep trying something that has not worked for months and is destroying the lad. Massive weakspot in an otherwise great manager and the more people criticise the more stobborn SD will become, supported by the happy clappers.

For me it’s got to be

Lowton Tarkowski Mee Ward
Lennon Cork Westwood JBG
Wood Barnes
But we all know Mr Dyche will put Hendrick in!

Re: Your team vs Everton
I wouldn`t be adverse to your team at all. It is at least seeing what Gudmundsson can do in that role. Hell...why bother buying Lennon if you can`t play to his strengths on the right???? Regards Wells, of course you`re right but at this rate we will not be seeing anything of him to warrant `seeing enough`of him. What we HAVE seen though is a team in the last 12 games that is pretty much impotent in front of goal which begs the question `Could we do any worse with Wells up front?`whiffa wrote:Think if it was down to me (thankfully it isn't), I'd go for a line-up like this:

Definitely need to go 4-4-2 today and be more braver at looking to create more chances. Westwood has done nothing wrong and deserves to start, but would like to see what Marney can do between now and end of the season. May be a good option from the bench? Assuming that Tarks comes back into the defence, that will be the 1st time we will have that back 4 available to us since the Arsenal game at home last year. That's our best back 4 in my opinion and that will help us today.

Re: Your team vs Everton
No great shake ups if I was the Boss so would keep the familiar set up and start with:
Pope
Lowton, Long, Mee, Ward
JBG, Westwood, Cork, Lennon
Hendrick
Barnes
I would want to see something from the bench and if there isn't a breakthrough after 60 mins then it would be all out attack with 3 offensive minded players entering the fray!

Re: Your team vs Everton
I would be surprised and disappointed if that's the team given our recent run of results and with key players now available. As an absolute minimum Tarkowski should be starting but I'd like to see an offensive change too.JohnMac wrote:No great shake ups if I was the Boss so would keep the familiar set up and start with:

I'm going off Tarky not being quite ready and Arfield not fit.
My subs would be GK/Marney, Wood and Vokes.

By the way I will be delighted if Tarky and Woods are starting but I don't know how ready they are.
Re: Your team vs Everton
Tarkowski is ready - Dyche has confirmed it - and there's a strong case for starting Vokes or Wood.
