At this level the pitch should always be playable and that will be the case here and at every other Premier League ground as well as the surrounding area being made safe.

But even the might of the Premier League can't influence the weather.

I recall Forest v Spurs (?) being abandoned mid game because it was snowing so much the referee and players couldn't see each other.

Weather update anyone? There’s been more snow overnight here on the Wirral, although not enough to stop me setting off. Any more snow in Burnley? Things still looking good?

1 mile from Turf, higher ground- no new snow but it hasn’t cleared, we are not a through road and this road will never see a grittier.

When past Turf last night and it looked ok directly around the ground.

Going out for a walk shortly, will report back!

Cant believe that the Swansea v West Ham game is still on should have been postponed yesterday but guess the powers that be don't care about supporters.

Out of all the games this week on the telly the away supporters have made it from quite far away no problem, it's the home fans that seem to struggle.

Blue Sky peeping through at Brunshaw Rd, around the Turf and through the town centre the pavements are pretty cleared. Hope everyone that wants to get to the game manages to do so. UTC
