Accy Stanley tickets
For all those with nothing to do next two Saturdays while we have no game, Accy are at home both weekends. I believe there is meant to be offers on of £10 adults and £1 kids too.
Either way, would be good to see a few clarets get behind their push for promotion. For a team like Accy to top the league is outstanding. Especially given the gates, lack of resources and the size of some of the clubs in the league. Coleman has done a great job there down the years.
Looking forward to going and watching them. Hope they secure top spot.

I'll stick to non-league football and give some of the local clubs a bit of money

I’m from Bradford so don’t get the not liking Accrington thing but I must say that I’m absolutely amazed they’re top. Incredible achievement with such small resource

Always kept an eye out for Accy results and it's amazing to see them top.

I don't understand the Accy love in, should we not be rivals? or have we nicked that many of their glory seeking fans that we have to pity them?

Excellent job being done again. Be great to see some clarets supporting them over the next few weeks.

It is an amazing achievement.Considering they blew it 2 sesons ago and struggled for long spells last season to get back up there again is great.Could very well be on the same Division as Sunderland next season

Never really seen them as rivals - in my lifetime anyway.... always more of that little team down the road that I'll keep an eye out for.KRBFC wrote:I don't understand the Accy love in, should we not be rivals? or have we nicked that many of their glory seeking fans that we have to pity them?

It will be as big as Leicester winning the Premier league if they can win the division. Absolutly no budget to spend and clubs just pinching their players.

East Lancashire bouncing. Clarets best of the rest in Prem, Stanley going for top spot in League 2 and .......oh hang on a minute, that’s where the East Lancs boundary stops

Re: Accy Stanley tickets
I'd say better given they've done no cheating to get there. It's amazing what they've achieved to be honest given the size of the club. Coleman is obviously a perfect fit for them.Quickenthetempo wrote:It will be as big as Leicester winning the Premier league if they can win the division. Re: Accy Stanley tickets
You could make the same argument about Colne FC. Nelson FC, Ramsbottom FC, all the other local clubs that we like to watch on Burnley's day off. At what point does a club get high enough in the league, or challenging enough in terms of taking supporters off us, that they become rivals? I suggest Accy aren't there yet.KRBFC wrote:I don't understand the Accy love in, should we not be rivals? or have we nicked that many of their glory seeking fans that we have to pity them?

I don't know at what point clubs become rivals tbh, do you think we'd become rivals if we were somehow in the same league?dsr wrote:You could make the same argument about Colne FC. Nothing on their website about reduced prices but then it's not an easy site to navigate and find prices.

Serious question, can you pay cash on the day? Might have a look down whilst I'm over in England.

Indeed. And that would be something.randomclaret2 wrote:It is an amazing achievement.Considering they blew it 2 sesons ago and struggled for long spells last season to get back up there again is great.Could very well be on the same Division as Sunderland next season
Along with the likes of Bradford, possibly Wigan and maybe even bastards.
Then the bottom of the championship looks exciting for them!
Sheff Weds, Hull, Bolton could all go down along with Birmingham and sunderland.

Re: Accy Stanley tickets
I doubt we would ever be rivals. No history of it and unless we capitulate probably never will. Even if we did fall apart it would only likely ever be a Rochdale or Bury type rivalry.dsr wrote:You could make the same argument about Colne FC. No real reason to dislike Accy at all.

Having said that, if I wasn't at Rangers v Killie, i'd maybe have a look at the arbories if Padiham were at home.

Good luck to them and I hope they go up but at the end of the day I'm a Burnley fan so will not be spending my money on watching them.
