I agree, I need to make plans in April and waiting for the match date to be confirmed. Once they got knocked out of the champions league there is no excuse for not confirming a date since Wednesday, with no replays in the FA Cup.

It takes time - the two clubs will need to come to an agreement and then that date has to be confirmed by the Premier League. If they can't agree then the Premier League arbitrate.

I think we've known for some time that it's likely to be 17th/18th April and I doubt it will be earlier.

As always fans, the lifeblood of the game are last considered. No home game for 6 weeks and then the likelihood of 2 within 4 days. Still lets look at the positives, I suppose it's better than the original 12.30 kick off time.

I think it will all depend on whether it is going to be Tuesday or Wednesday but that's been the week pencilled in for some time.

I think this is the problem, the fans, those who attend games, aren't the lifeblood anymore, 20,000 attending the turf means nothing against the millions around the world who will watch Chelsea on TV, and pay more for the privilege

Burnley’s outstanding Premier League game at home to Chelsea has now been finalised for Thursday, April 19 (7.45 KO). The rescheduled game will be screened live on Sky Sports.

The game had been postponed from its original date of Saturday, March 17, due to Chelsea’s involvement in the FA Cup.

As a consequence, the Premier League game away to Stoke City, currently scheduled for Saturday, April 21, will move back 24 hours to Sunday, April 22. This game will kick off at 1.30pm.
