FAO Herts Clarets
Herts, any idea on what Finsbury Park station will be like after the game? I intend to park at Hitchin as we are stopping nearby. There is a train at 18.28 which will be too early but hope to get the 18.58 as we need to be away asap. Do you know if there is likely to be big queues? Cheers

Police operate crowd control in the approach to the station to prevent the platforms becoming dangerous. Generally delays about 10 minutes from experience. There is a 19:10 train, which is probably more realistic but it is a stopping train so takes longer.
I remember the first time I went to the Emirates when we played them in the FA Cup - 2009 possibly. Mrs Herts had taken the kids into London and I said I would try and get on the same train they were on after the game. As we were held outside the station, I phoned and said the police were holding us back so I wouldn't make the train so meet them at Hitchin. After a short time after she explained to the kids that I wouldn't catch the same train, my son who was 3 or 4 back then announces to the other passengers in the carriage that Daddy can't get on this train with us, as he is in jail! Quick explanation required from Mrs Herts!

Re: FAO Herts Clarets
It's busy. A lot of Arsenal fans are heading north on that line and there are barriers and a queuing system there. The away end is also quite a way around the ground so there'll probably be a fair few Arsenal fans there first (although they may be hanging around to applaud Wenger).
