I've just googled " Hollywood Forever " and it's a music venue in L.A. set in an old Cemetery... Gulp !

Picture from the gig. Its a brilliant venue. Theres a big lawn slopping towards the stage. Brilliant view from the back and the sound was the best ive heard at an outdoor event.

Why?

Because they’re my favorite band. A british band who keep evolving over and over. They’re massively influenced by their time in the Us especially LA. There was only 3000 in attendance whereas it will be 10000 over in England at least in crap venues and cities.

In England they still attract the meathead Oasis fans who turn up to listen to 4 old songs and chuck **** over everybody.

I was going to try and guess, but my ideas would have led to accusations that " Up The Clarets " was not the only part of the Internet that I visit on a daily basis !! :oops:

The girl im talking about has now gone home. She stayed at my hostel the first night and met a swedish girl. We all hung out for a few days and now were finding a decent hotel to stay at together. Its been a wild few days. Me and the crazy girl got stranded at the beach. We went in the sea without the right swim wear. Got a phone stolen. Mine ran out of battery. Not much money. We finally confidence a taxi to take us back and pay later.

Last night a met a guy from mexico who didnt speak english. We chatted through google translates and he said he has heard of Burnley. Everybody Ive talked to knows who we are now.
