Re: World cup thread
An incredibly stupid thing to do from Walker. Look very dangerous going forward. Played some great creative football with real pace. Poor finishing but no way we'll miss that many in the 2nd half. Be reyt, we'll win this.
If you find it funny or aren't bothered then do me a favour and **** right off

England playing some good stuff but the finishing is woefully poor. For us to advance we will have to finish

Re: World cup thread
Maguire and Young out together on the left, both totally right-footed, what a weakness?

and my opinion was we haven't been excellent and you threw your toys out of the pram, why am I not allowed an opinion without being called a 12 year old but you are?IndigoLake wrote:For you perhaps, yes.
However, my opinion (and it's only my opinion!) is that we've been excellent. I know we've missed a few very good chances but there have been some top saves to deny us too. Let's see what the 2nd half brings but I'm pretty happy with what I've seen minus the silliness from Walker.

England looking very promising
Re: World cup thread
2 penalty decisions wrong, what is the point of VAR?
I'm sure the commentator said the referee has been told to look at the Kane one yet he didn't stop the game and look at the screen.

1) didn't know you were allowed to rugby tackle players. Outrageous decision not to give a penalty.
2) Maguire is gash.
3) Our finishing is gash.

When it’s a racist opinion you are compared to an immature little boy- no change there then.

Jenas spot on. We need the defence to get it forward quicker.

Re: World cup thread
Have to love all the England fans moaning about the wrestling on Kane... but no-one mentions that Stones shoves a defender in the back in the same shot...
Re: World cup thread
Fantastic rugby tackle on Kane, the ref 10 metres away and the VAR people surprisingly didn't see it.
Thought we played some good stuff and should have scored 2 or 3. Oh well.

other than trips the back three not playing ball forward qk enough too many sideways passes,
good movement up front , but finishing of sterling and lingard leaves a lot to be desired

Re: World cup thread
The reffing and var have been excellent until this match.
We’ve now had two early flags for offside and the last one saved Pickfords bacon.
How can they give a pen against Walker and not the two grapples on Kane? Madness.
