They love a wife beater at Ibrox.
Re: ARTICLE: Flanagan moves to Rangers
Please refer to "Rangers" as sevco. They are not the same club as their dead predecessors.....

What happened to the Aberdeen away thread?
I was just getting warmed up
I'll be at Pittodrie on the 26th, looking forward to it immensely.

Arfield can't be that great.
He couldn't get a game for Burnley.

I wouldn’t go criticising Scotty on here sunshine, he was nothing short of an excellent professional at Burnley for the whole 5 years that he was here. The real Tup wrote:Arfield can't be that great.

He will be a first pick for sevco. Well until the 5th August when his cruciate disintegrates live and exclusive on Sky Sports and sevco watch yet another million or so flushing down the cludgie. The real Tup wrote:Arfield can't be that great.

Re: ARTICLE: Flanagan moves to Rangers
Yes but that was years ago he really was a fine example of a late developer after he came to us on a free from Huddersfield, as I say under Dyche he was superb for the 5 years he was with us.

Who was born in Scotland.Goobs wrote:That's cos hes Canadian![]()
Bit like other fake internationalists, born in one country, but choose to play for another one on account of not being good enough to represent their country of birth

Back on subject a boy with a full name of Jonathon PATRICK FLANAGAN better hope his performances are up to scratch, because with a name like that it isn't going to take the huns long to get on his back

Scotty was easily good enough for Scotland the only stumbling block was the no good poisonous dwarf Strachan, he was never going to pick him no matter how Scotty performed that’s why he elected to represent Canada.Top Don wrote:Who was born in Scotland.

You may well be right.South West Claret. wrote:Scotty was easily good enough for Scotland the only stumbling block was the no good poisonous dwarf Strachan, he was never going to pick him no matter how Scotty performed that’s why he elected to represent Canada.
Wee Chesney was part of our greatest ever team, but for some reason managed to turn himself into a hugely unpopular character to the point of being despised by many. Was a long standing joke that any Scot wanting to end their international career only needed to sign for Aberdeen whilst Strachan was Scotland manager.

Well that sort of somes the bloke up, a real pity for Scotty as Strachan must have been the only fella in football that didn’t recognise Scottie’s qualities for so long.Top Don wrote:You may well be right.

Re: ARTICLE: Flanagan moves to Rangers
I will miss Scotty at the Turf, you knew you would always get 100% and the ability to turn a half chance into a memory at any given moment. I hope he adventure in Glasgow goes well for him on a personal level, even if as an RC I cannot wish his new team success.
Flanagan - if he can re-find his early Liverpool career form from somewhere he'll do well up North, if not he might get away with it given the average level of game in the SPL, but I do get the impression he may lack the character to resurrect his career given his time with us.
