Where exactly did I commit these heinous crimes ? As I already pointed out all I said (as plenty of others have said on this thread) was that I did not think there was much wrong with the term “stick insect”

You protested that you "can't" do something because doing it would mean criticism from others. I've no problem pointing out to people that criticism is not oppression on every single thread where someone acts like it is. What you don’t seem to realise is that it tends to spoil a lot of threads as it ends up in tit for tat argument.

As I say, I don’t necessarily disagree with the point that you are making, but don’t think it needs to be on every thread, which speaking for myself, sees too many potentially good threads spoiled.

The constant is you and your apparent need to be the message board protagonist.

I once 'shagged' a bird who was so fat her ankles covered half her shoes.

Was out on town a week later and lost my keys, couldn't get hold of my flat mate to let me in. Phoned up Gunt Face and asked her if I could come over to hers.

"Nope" she replied abruptly.

"Why?" I asked, slightly miffed

He's not on his own - I've seen many people say they've had enough of a very small handful wanting to constantly create disagreements about anything and everything, so they have decided to post much less as a result. The free speech point is exceptionally weak in this context.

I see plenty of folk complaining, which is fair enough, but asking for other posters to be banned (unless they post actual hate speech or pictures of dead children (as Bluelab once did)) is taking it too far, imo.
