Pickford was not looking, he just decided to dive one way, most of the time, in such a way that chat he was on the move prior to the taker getting to the ball. Appalling.

Goes against all that keepers are trained to do during one on o ones....make the striker commit.

He said after the game that he'd studied videos of their penalty takers so dived the way they usually put them, and only Falcao changed where he normally put it.

I'm not a big fan of Pickford but the penalty save and the one from the long shot before their goal were simply outstanding.
