Smart place but I hope there are busses out there for yous. That is the very edge of a very large city.

Them floodlight pylons look a bit ineffective. It looks like they added them as an afterthought.

Was thinking they looked a bit odd myself.Lord Beamish wrote:Them floodlight pylons look a bit ineffective. It looks like they added them as an afterthought.
Funky shape.

There are stand top lights too though.

It'll be great when we have a decent stadium and facilities.

You can't say that Corky, we can't be seen to be a modern, forward thinking club.Corky wrote:It'll be great when we have a decent stadium and facilities.

I went in the Bob Lord last night, first time in years. Loads of history, big wooden seats, great view (if you're not behind a pillar). I know some people yearn for their own concrete and plastic bowl but you've got to appreciate what you've got sometimes.Corky wrote:It'll be great when we have a decent stadium and facilities.

Most of the time we go somewhere with modern facilities everyone on here is banging on about it being soulless.Corky wrote:It'll be great when we have a decent stadium and facilities.

Totally agree NottsClaret only knew I could go late so also in Bob Lord fantastic to look across at full Cricketfield with vociferous fans from both teams in a tight ,intimate setting hope we fill the Turf in two weeks and get behind our team at our Turf not some fabricated identikit ground.

Re: Drone footage of the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium
Checked it out last week, it's nearly new and pretty state-of-the-art but it only holds 17,600, so it's not big. Never heard of the football club before we drew them but hardly surprising as I think they've only been around since 1990, so not an old club with lots of history. They DO have Adebayor though but he's 34 now. They do have some credibility in this competition though and have had some decent results against bigger clubs including knocking Club Bruges out of the Champions League qualifiers and losing narrowly to Sevilla after drawing away, so not to be taken lightly. Not that I think Sean and the boys ever would.Corky wrote:It'll be great when we have a decent stadium and facilities.
