In Custardesque tradition.
Review of first 15 minutes.

15'

The resulting corner from Ashley Westwood (Burnley) is cleared by the opposition's defence.
15' Phillip Bardsley (Burnley) wins the ball near the penalty spot and unleashes a header towards the top left corner, but Mert Gunok is alert and denies him. Burnley will take a corner kick.
13'

Edin Visca (Basaksehir) steps up to take the corner. He launches the ball into the penalty area, but it only finds the head of an opposing player who clears the danger.
10' Ashley Barnes (Burnley) finds himself unmarked on the edge of the box, but he drags his shot just wide of the right post.
4' Gael Clichy (Basaksehir) escapes without any punishment from the referee after using excessive force to foul his opponent.
1'

The referee blows his whistle and we are underway.
Istvan Kovacs was nominated as the referee for this game.

with us not exactly being free-scoring I do fear the worst if we concede first.
Sounds like we've dominated and been the better, more dangerous side this half.

If it is on Radio Lancs 'normal radio', can we not all join one one big Skype conference call? Then I'll give my mum a ring, get her to join, and see if she can put Radio Lancs on full blast.

In control for most of the half without creating many clear cut chances.

Bardsley hit a good long range effort

Lennon had the best chance and weaved himself into a great position but couldn't get the shot off quick enough

They created chances in the last few mins with Hart busy and making a gòod save

Ref has been atrocious

That's my brief half time report from the turf with a weak signal

This is a nightmare. No stream. Radio Lancashire unavailable on the internet. Just having to rely on sporadic updating on BBC Sport or Twitter and this fairly useless thread. It doesn't sound as if we are that bothered about winning either.

Seems like we did ok for most of the first half. Just hope we can nick it in the second half

Played very well for 40 mins but they had three good chances to end the half. Hart made a very good save.

Ref seems a bit keen when it comes to argy bargain in the box. Blows up nearly everytime. Like others said half time came at a good time they were just coming into the game, but for 40 minutes we looked much the better side. Had our chances, but didn't make them count. Their keeper made a few nice saves.

Hart looks solid and can hear Gibson really keeping Long on his toes. Good communication for sure.

Some comeback this

Meanwhile, over in Russia...
Zenit St Petersburg have absolutely thrashed Dinamo Minsk to win their third round qualifying match 8-1 (8-5 on aggregate.)

They are being a bit greedy aren't they? Can they share their goals with Burnley please!

Such a bizarre atmosphere here at Turf Moor in this Europa League clash. No Istanbul away fans so Burnley have decided to sing among themselves. Jimmy Mc Lower vs Longside vs Bob Lord Stand!

Who's winning ;) :o the BBC reporter still refers to the ;Longside.

Ah! answer above Karen is a Claret.
