In case it was lost in the midst of all the other threads we are kive on 11 sports tonight. Its a legit site that shows apl la liga, serie a etc similar to skysports.

You can sign up for a 1 week free trial and cancel after tonight. But looks worth the monthly fee. 5 quid for tonnes of hd football.

What's the quality like on a big TV from elevensports? Any better than Youtube?

Quality was fine.

Any youtube stream will be coming from that elevensports stream so will be the same quality at best and likely worse.

I watched the game vs Aberdeen via Apps on the smart TV > youtube ... quality was pretty awful.

However, I've just realised you can connect your TV to Youtube via Wifi, by typing in a code to Youtube > settings > watch on tv.
I did that and the quality looks miles better.

So if any streaming sites use Youtube tonight I might sign up.

just joined the elevensports and watching golf and very good picture.

Match showing as comping up so hopefully will be able to hook the computer to the TV later to watch

For those have the Youtube App on their TV, can connect it to their phone via their Wi-Fi network. For some reason doing that increases the quality 10-fold.

It's in Youtube > Settings > watch on tv > enter code (that your TV will be displaying).

Sorry Frank not technical at all, have loaded the site to my computer and just watching from their site, never really used U-Tube except for a few links people have sent me.

As I said not very technical and don't understand why anyone wants U-Tube when it's on their site, confused

I think it just depends on how you connect. If you have all the wires to connect laptop to TV, I'm sure any site would be fine. At the moment, I can only get a decent picture if I connect phone to TV via Youtube connection. There is an Eleven Sports youtube channel, I'm just not sure if paid membership streams are streamed via YT, or whether they just use that to show previously screened football.

I believe its to be shown on youtube anyway. If you have sky q you can watch it through there

Kate, might be cos a lot of telly's (like mine) automatically show youtube directly on the big screen.
Although, I'm sure Eleven sports can be beamed to the telly too.

ok, no idea, just plug HDMI TV cable from sky box, unplug that and plug into my laptop and TV works great

when I go to there search box and put UTube in it says no results, not sure if that helps

Watching through the eleven sports website with the HDMI lead plugged into my TV, is anyone having issues with sound? My TV is on full volume but it’s still really quiet.
