They had a sign up for the Manure game. Temporary closure. I took it to be refurb but they could have gone on their jollies.

Re: Park View Chippy
Very overrated chippy.
I’d move the owners and staff in from Grandma Pollards and have them on a seasonal retainer.

Re: Park View Chippy
This was a serious question (asking for a friend), I'm not angling or on a fishing trip as some of the replies suggest. Why was it shut? Apparently a notice up at United game that it would be closed on match days until further notice.

Re: Park View Chippy
Oh no where did people queue up needlessly today? Did they manage to use their little legs and find the Chinese at the other end of the street?
It often amuses me that i can walk past the Chinese pre-game and there is only a couple of people waiting..walk down the street and the queue for Park View chippy is round the corner. Very little difference in quality or price imo so are people that lazy or just plain daft to queue up?

Re: Park View Chippy
My guess would be a struggle to recruit sufficient staff for matchdays. The male proprietor is so rude, abrasive and ignorant to his customers that I can only imagine how dreadful it is to work for him!

Been a couple of years since i have been in the Park View chippy but the Chinese is good for the basic stuff..nice curry sauce..no idea if it's any good for Chinese. I would certainly go there before queueing for the Park View.woody wrote:Big difference in quality in my opinion
