Bit of bad grammar there! Forgiveable, I hope!
Have to set off early, so Madge has to do an early shift as well as gee us up for kick-off. Here she is in her original performance in HolyCustard days.
Looking forward to a great performance and 3 points.
Up the Clarets
Bit odd as pic not showing on my phone. Hope she is there in virtual life!]

Burnley defender James Tarkowski could miss out with a groin strain.
Steven Defour is also a doubt due to a personal issue, while winger Robbie Brady is not yet fit to return.

No complacency cos this lot are winless. They’ll get one soon but not today if we turn up.

Big game today, a win would really kick start our season I feel despite the dodgy performance at Cardiff. Would put us well clear of the strugglers which is only a good thing with City and Chelsea coming up.
Need a decent crowd and atmosphere getting behind the team.

Both kids in bed - the boy after his first swimming lesson and the 2-year old in her FULL Burnley strip but in a foul mood (more like her mother every day!)
I`d LOVE a display to rid my brain of the awfulness of that performance last week (result aside it was painful to watch!). Ummmmmm......2-1 Burnley with Gudmundsson (33), the Yorkies getting a fluke in the 69th minute ONLY for the one and only Ashley Barnes to bag the winner in the 84th minute - WITH A HEADER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
COME ON BURNLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would like to see a much better performance today though obviously the win is what's most important. Huddersfield have had a poor start but they'll cause us problems if we play as we did last week. Let's get at them! UTC

I can only see it because of how SD expects Huddersfield to play - men behind the ball dropping deep. So the physicality of Barnes could be a genius move. Vydra would the better choice in most other games, when teams open up more.

£1m worth of strikers on the pitch. £26.5m worth of strikers on the bench.

This was exactly the sort of game we signed Vydra for, when teams play deep and we need some subtlety/ pace to open them up.
Urgh

I always thought the Dyche mantra was don't change a winning side. Especially one that won 4-0 last time we played at home

I can see why Dyche has changed things. If they sit deep, coming for a point, then Vydra isn't going to have a lot of joy. Up to Barnes and Vokes to put in a decent shift and give their back line something to think about. It ain't going to be pretty...

Because Vokes would sell for the same price we got him in 2012

Pace is more important when teams attack us. When teams sit deep, it can often be more about strength, especially if we lump balls into their box.

Good afternoon all from a sunny / cloudy day here in Galway .
Now for the first time since spring i have had to turn the heating on this morning , yep a October feel to the the day only to be brighten up by a classic display from the Clarets to make it all feel like summer once again .
Going to be a close game but we will win by one goal .
Humm as for the weather it's raining now , that's the West of Ireland for you

Presumably tactical decision to play Vokes and Barnes. Anyhow im off to the game in a minute so ill leave it to those who like to moan.
Barnes and Vokes makes a lot of sense by the way.

No let's get all our slagging in early so we can say "told you so" later.
But seriously, you're completely right. You might think Dyche had earned the benefit of the doubt by now but apparently not.
And we don't even know the reasons behind it.

Arrived ok, after lots of rain in the south. Glad to see Madge turned up ok. Weird that.
Barnes and Vokes will soften them up for a bit of subtlety if needed. Wood lucky to be on the bench at the moment. Hope he hits form soon.
Up the Clarets.

Could be a masterstroke this. Ashley will be chomping at the bit after not getting on last week after his brace against Bournemouth. Soften them up for Vydra on the hour

I just want a win today, any win; 10 points before the break from where we were at the start of this period should be classed as a success with less pressure going into a tough post international break period.

We don't know what those reasons are, and nor do we really have a right to. Interesting that you haven't said the same of Brady despite his numerous set-backs.
