For years I'd always thought that only Burnley & Wolves were the only two Clubs to win all four Divisions of the English Football League system .....
I read today that there are now 5, anybody able to name the other three ??

Pipped " Factual Frank " to the post there, Mark ....
All bar Sheffield United have completed the feat by winning the 4th Division, or 4th Tier, if you will .... Wolves ( 1989 ), Burnley ( 1992 ), PNE ( 1996 ) and Portsmouth ( 2017 ), Sheffield United did it by finishing Champions of the 3rd Tier ( League 1 ) in 2017 ...

Portsmouth (League 2/Div 4) and Sheff Utd (League 1/Div 3) both joined the all 4 division club in 2017. Sheffield United had a 119 year gap between their single 1st division title in 1898 and completing the set last year. All Pompey's titles have been since WW2

Isn’t it that ourselves and Wolves are the only ones to win divisions 1,2,3 & 4 before they were rebadged as Premier/Championship etc?

You're technically correct I think, " wilks " ... but to be fair, all five Clubs are " proper " Clubs with history, who've known the bad as well as the good times ..

I’m think yourself, mik & I we’re making the same point
At the moment it’s still a race between ourselves & Wolves to complete the “full set” of old 1-4, Championship & Premier League

If we'd been relegated in 1987 it's possible we would have gone on to become the first (and only) team to win the top five divisions. I'm glad we didn't though.

Its unlikely though as we wouldve gone pete tongue and at that point hadnt won the 4th division.

I always thought that it was us, Wolves and PNE. Coincidentally, the only 3 clubs that are still on the site of their original grounds. I may be wrong so don’t give me grief!

Preston won their 3rd Division title in 2000 when we were also promoted. So they won all 4 'original' division titles before rebranding too.
Out of the 5 clubs we are the last Champions of England though. Wolves won it the season before us and Portsmouth won it twice in the 1940s. For Preston you have to go back to the 1st 2 seasons of the Football League and Sheffield United were just 6 years later than them.

No. When Preston won the third tier title they became Champions of Division Two. And they won the fourth tier in 1996, some four years after it was re-branded as Division Three. Hence, only us and Wolves can lay claim to having won all four 'original' division titles.

The initial rebrand was the 1992/93 season when it became the Premiership, Div1, 2 & 3
2004/05 was when the Football Leagues became Championship, Div1 & Div2
The 2000 title they won was the Divison 2 title
Edit: typed that before seeing sausages post

For me it doesn't matter what the division was called at the time.
If you've won all four of them then it's the same achievement no matter the nomenclature.
To say otherwise would put you in the same crowd who only think stats from 'the Premier league era' hold relevance.

Not arguing with you, Falcon, as I quite agree. I was just responding to the branding issue. Excellent use of 'nomenclature' too.

Wolves are not at their original ground, they moved in in the second year of league football.

I don't get this Premiership, Championship, League 1, League 2 stuff. I know it's all about branding your product, but in North America you would seriously damage your credibility by trying such stunts. Even the non-league people have taken it up. I think there's a league in Scotland called the Tayside Super Duper League. Ridiculous.

As it stands, Leicester are the only team to win the Premier League and Championship, and BFC and Wolves are the only teams to have won all 4 of the old divisions and the Championship.

Slightly different to winning but I’ve seen us play the following clubs in all four divisions over the years (if you don’t take into account the rebrandings).
Blackpool
Bolton
Cardiff
Carlisle
Leyton Orient
Preston
Swansea

We've never played Wolves at third division level - they are one of a good number of clubs I've seen us play in three of the four.

Luton and Oxford didn’t actually win all four divisions but they did play in all four divisions...so not as daft as you suggest.

Fulham? Remember us beating them 5-0 in the 4th with no's 7,8,9,10,11 all scoring.
