Sinead O'Connor
Re: Sinead O'Connor
She's actually a nasty little racist. What if she had of said this about black people certain people would be up in arms.

Re: Sinead O'Connor
She actually equates "white people" to non-muslims so I'm guessing hasn't yet learnt the word kafir in her new personality.
She says herself that it's "something so racist....". Indeed it is. I think there's a fair chance that there will be a claim of "my account was hacked" when she engages her brain/takes advice.

A job has come up, Professor of art at the Slade (UCL). One of the criteria is to be able to teach 'decolonization of thought.'
'Decolonizing the mind' is a book written by an African calling into question (as ever) the use of English and a return to African language and literature as part of the Black Power movement.
The book is WRITTEN IN ENGLISH, has an ISBN number, is mass-printed on paper and is probably distributed by Amazon and also information about it is available online.
Not really much decolonization there, methinks...

I wonder if she'll become one the four allowed?Lord Beamish wrote:I wonder if, after a few years in the religion, she’ll come on telly and rip up a picture of the Grand Mufti, declaring him the incarnation of Satan upon the Earth, and earn herself a Fatwa?

A complete nut job.
I’m sure she’ll fit in nicely.

I had you down as being religious, but you have clearly never been to a place of worship if you think it equates to being less materialisticAndrewJB wrote:Becoming more spiritual or religious; or less materialistic - if you want to put it that way
Re: Sinead O'Connor
I wonder if she will change her name like Cat Stephens and Casius Clay did? Or will she keep the money name? I wonder.

I agree with that boatshed bill - a really excellent debut album.

It is unprecedented what those three have achieved after your teachings. You should be sat on a temple on a mountain humming to your students.Millertime v1.7 wrote:Ask anyone here bud. She will now refer to her former self in the third person: 'She's a sin.'

I see the turtle is quiet on this one, not surprised. Racism only works one way with him.
Re: Sinead O'Connor
Perhaps she should do a duet with yusaf Islam aka Cat Stevens of classic songs .

I'm only a bit religious.Damo wrote:I had you down as being religious, but you have clearly never been to a place of worship if you think it equates to being less materialistic

People could join a religion for purely selfish reasons - to get laid, for example. But then joining a religion and becoming religious turn into two different things.

Not a problem with her becoming a muslim, if that's where her beliefs have lead her then fair play.
But feeling the need to say everybody else who has a faith is unintelligent shows she already lost sight of what religion and faith actually is, in my opinion of course.
