Little risk on the downside, and would cheer up the Clarets faithful no end until further signings are made !!

Yes he was. Tendayi had come through the youth system and was the established right back the entire year, winning player of the season. Sam had only signed from Mansfield Town that year, so had a bit of stepping up to do. He had only really established himself as a first choice pick when Eoin Doyle was sold in the January transfer window, but spent a time at Left back when both Jones and Talbot (inevitably) got injured, and some time at centre forward. When able to play left mid, he looked to have some (raw) class, but was certainly not out of place at left back. Tendayi, Morsey, Doyle and Clucas all looked more than capable of holding their own in the Championship by the time the season ended.kentonclaret wrote:Was Sam Clucas not at Chesterfield also when we signed Darikwa?
Same.with my brother in law. *******cricketfieldclarets wrote:Brother in laws a bastards fan. And he absolutely raves about him.
And I'm sure there will be a premium because it's us.jrgbfc wrote:Didn't they turn down 15 million in the summer from West Brom? If there's any truth to this I'd be amazed, about as far away from a typical Dyche player as you can get!
He's a midfielder pal.scouseclaret wrote:Do we have a vacancy for another big, immobile lummox up front?

Andy Carroll's out of contract this summer.scouseclaret wrote:Do we have a vacancy for another big, immobile lummox up front?
Yup, those are the ones. We desperately needed to fill specific slots when Joey and Andre came in, so we took something of a chance on both of them. It could also be argued that we were unaware of Andres social media indiscretion, which was made at an earlier point in his life, so we didn't take it into account.Goobs wrote:Are we talking about the same strict personality tests that saw us sign Joey Barton, Andre Gray, Jeff Hendrick and supposedly chase Troy Deeney?
Dack has 14 in all competitions and 4 assists.MrTopTier wrote:Vydra scored 21 in 40. Dack 10 in 23 so far in a worse team? Plus his assist rate is higher.
Yup, another talented player with a documented history of having a questionable attitude. However, those instances applied to him when he was a lot younger. A fall down the ladder, combined with the maturity that sometimes comes from advancing years, seems to be making a difference. And he hasn't assaulted any police officers recently.claretspice wrote:Personally, if we're going after players of this profile, I'd sooner go after Nick Powell from Wigan, who is out of contract in the summer and therefore potentially available at a relatively modest fee.
It would of been removed by now if there was any truthLancasterclaret wrote:Can someone provide a concrete link to this actually being true?
No, as we sold all our concrete to Watford for 15 million as the trappings of another deal.Lancasterclaret wrote:Can someone provide a concrete link to this actually being true?
