Yeah, might make it bearable and get a train elsewhere for the day Saturday while they shop. I did suggest staying in Manchester but didn't win.

There’s a pub as soon as you come out the station and cross the road - Punch and Judy I think it’s called.claretonthecoast1882 wrote:Yeah, might make it bearable and get a train elsewhere for the day Saturday while they shop. I did suggest staying in Manchester but didn't win.
Proper grimey little boozer that’s brilliant to waste a few hours away whilst they shop

They won’t look in there - if they do, just sit in the back room - they’ll stick to floor when they step in giving you adequate time to move on.claretonthecoast1882 wrote:Ideally I aim to avoid them til we head home Sunday

Gutted ! so was the pub. There used to be some proper characters in there always good for a laugh.
Another one that has gone is the Penny Farthing.Once asked for 3 pints of John Smiths to be told we do not sell it.When I pointed to the John Smiths pump the barmaid said yes but it's not John Smiths that comes out of it.

Klopp on noon KO: "I wasn't used to it before but that's gone. We don't have those issues any more. We need atmosphere at 12 o'clock. If you have a ticket go to bed at 10pm Saturday night and don't drink!"
Early night boys or feel the wrath.
