On my way. Big day to inflict damage on the champions, as we usually do.
Madge wants Europe!
3 points for the Clarets would set the marker.
Come on you Clarets. Let's cheer them to the rafters.

Shows the job on hand in the transfer market does that. No centre midfielders on the bench at this level is criminal imho

Still highlights we're a bit short today. 4 defenders on the bench to cover 4 defenders compared to 2 midfielder/attacker subs to cover 6 positions

Yep and I think if we had a midfielder or attacker in for one of the left backs it would be a lot more balanced
It is what it is but as Dom stated I think we need to do a lot more in this summers window than we did in the last three (IMO of course)

Afternoon all , from a overcast and soft day here in Galway .
Now not sure why i am so up for this game but up at 6.30am this morning and waiting for kick off . Look we are safe as we all knew for sure yesterday but something has gotten to me about today's game as i see a shock on the cards .
So what have i done for the last 7 hours is a good question ? Did plan to cut the grass in the garden which would taken at least and hour but rain did that one in so decided to clean the oven and cooker hob ( nasty job ) which was about the best thing i could do to waste the time away .
Ready and waiting with wine in hand and a very shiny looking cooker to boot .

I think it was just in case of a head injury. It was pretty clearly his face. But i too thought he was gonna give it.

Though City might be a bit edgy and nervous today but its more been a case that we've looked really comfortable containing them and not really been stretched at all

All players done their job very well in that first half. Obviously a bit unsure of putting too many forward when we attack which is cutting options down but deserve to be level.

We’ve been our usual selves. Their passing is well off their norm. I’m hoping it’s nerves and they get worse.

Solid thus far at least we're not rolling over which is good to see, you'd expect them to lift the tempo 2nd half though.

from the bbc
'Tough luck City'
Burnley 0-0 Man City
Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live
It's clear Man City haven't been able to zip the ball around. But even if Burnley haven't soaked the ground before kick-off, that's tough luck, they're allowed to do that!
Have they put the sprinklers on at half-time? No they have not.
