Let’s smash the glass ceiling and appoint a female coach.
Some of the fan base can’t accept we have owners who aren’t from the ‘local’ area and resort to calling them out for nonsense because of it.

Imagine if a world class female coach came…

Cooper would be a good option. He basically did the same thing as Vincent when he turned Forest around so quickly in the Championship. The owner then brought in a huge number of players and it took half a season for him to knit a team together. They were brilliant the second half of last season and I think he was treated harshly this season.

Ralph Hasenhüttl might not be a bad shout, although I guess there's a reason he's not had a job since he left Southampton.
Hasenhuttl has retired from management

I would happy have a female coach just to see Joey Barton and his legions (including some on this forum) combust.

Our next manager will be American and I doubt he,or she, will be known to anyone on this board

Mark Robins.
Why what has he ever achieved? He’s had like 8 seasons in the Championship?

If you were a championship club looking for a manager right now, Kompany would be right up there on your short list after what he achieved in that division last season. We are effectively a championship club atm and if we were looking for a manager he'd be right up there on our short list too. Making sacking him rather pointless.

Most championship clubs wouldn't be able to give him anywhere the budget required to make changes like he has done. The only teams would be those in year 2 of their parachute payments or the ones just been relegated; Stoke may be an exception mind but then, I'm not sure he'd want to work under any constraints.

I think he has a lot of freedom and influence to do things his way right now at Burnley and i think it's one of the reasons that he came in the first place - realistically how many Championship teams can you see offering anywhere near to the same freedom/starting position as we did?

I agree .. he has sold the owners a dream which they appear to have backed fully without questioning any of his signings and their cost or team selections and tactics .VK doesn’t seem to acknowledge any failings with his new team but I think because he was such a good player winning so much has somehow maintained unwavering support from the owners who believe it’s only a matter of time before it all comes together .Would be interesting if VK was sacked and another championship side took him if he took any of this squad with him ? Trafford ? Tresor ? I think he wouldn’t take any of them .

I think the next manager should be Richard Head. The majority of posters on here would then have something in common with him.

Yep, I can see the similarities between you and someone with that name.
