Reform might end up winning if the Tory vote went to them and Gaza diminishes the Labour vote.
Spot on with what you say with the way Reform are taking 30% of the votes in strong Labour areas.
Will be interesting to see the results in the more marginal constituencies, but agree the Palestinian issue will dilute the Labour vote and help Reform.

Can I ask a civil question?
What is the reason for not discussing politics on here as I would have thought that it would be a positive thing in the education of the electorate? Thank you.

I underestimated the Liberal vote so was way out. Crap at the tinned food count, crap at the election count and I didn't guess the new manager either.

Who cares? Tories obliterated. Job done.
Exactly!
This is a great opportunity for Labour to turn the country around through doing the basics well. Act on behalf of the majority rather than the few, and do it with integrity and honesty. That alone will be a 10-fold improvement on the last government.

Which, roughly translated means:
Thank you for your civil question. The answer is because ALL political threads end up becoming a slanging match with people making all sorts of emotion driven accusations against not just other posters, but political figures as well. We decided the best way to moderate this was to ban it entirely.
Thank you for your enquiry, and your continued support of the moderating team here at UTC.

Or the country. They've taken 34% of the vote. Lowest ever % for a majority I believe. Shows how many have deserted the Tories.
Starmer has actually won less of the vote than Corbyn polled in 2017. That's food for thought.
It would be interesting to see the absolute numbers for the nation(s) as a whole.

Only 20% of the electorate voted labour.

So Labour get Burnley despite losing 8.5% of the vote? Says it all.
