Normally I'd agree
But people aren't going to city because they're fed up of seeing us get beat
As a supporter I dont get that, so I can't imagine what they'd do at home
In all honesty… I’ll be going to 60 to 70 percent of the away games this season and I won’t be expecting to win any of them but will travel with hope - I think this is the case for most of us ?

So city is no different for me

Some people pick and choose away games to attend, so it’s totally understandable that Man City away is less appealing than other fixtures considering our record there.

Glad you called them people, and not supporters
I was brought up to support my team through thick and thin, and well into my 60s still carry that on
I'm on holiday, but flying in for the city game, then back on holiday on the Sunday....dont give a toss about previous results. Couldn't fly in today because there are no suitable flights.
It's a personal thing, but I would never base not attending on previous games

Burnley fans are the first to criticise rovers fans for not attending games against us, because of previous results, yet here we are doing exactly the same, double standards?

Only people go on holiday and don’t get flights back in the football season, real supporters were there in the pouring rain today. It works both ways Row x. 😀

Do you think people who don’t attend every single Burnley match aren’t supporters?

Never missed two home games going away before, but weather wise glad I'm away.

Have i said that?

We all miss games

But, I know its a big but, read my posts, you will see, or should see, that my point is those missing the game because they think we'll lose, based on previous results

I am choosing not to go to the Man City game but I can assure you I am a supporter.

I’m afraid you are wrong again we don’t ALL miss games some of us manage to attend games and get holidays in too.

For someone in their sixties you really are an unpleasant arrogant individual aren’t you?

I really dont get your point, or the need for abuse

My point was, I find it strange that supporters miss games because they think we are going to lose
If you go to every game, you must think it strange to.

The likelihood of us getting beat is certainly a factor that makes this game less appealing than say Man Utd a couple of weeks ago.

What I find strange is that you have spent three days or so calling people for not going to City only them to find that you missed a home game. It’s their choice whether they go to an away game or not. Please rein it in for the sake of us all. You are making this message board an unpleasant place. It looks like we are finally rid of Devils Advocate only to have you pop up on nearly every thread taking the contrary view and coming across as pompous and arrogant. Please stop doing it.

TBF some nights recently I view the board to see most threads with the last poster as being 'Row x', you do seem to be unduly antagonistic at the minute, but that may be me seeing posts out of context, I haven't looked too deeply into it.

It is probably better reading the thread, but basically it my opinion is that its strange people dont attend games because they think we'll lose.
Some agree, some disagree which is fine
Some revert to abuse for some reason

I am certain I selected a seat in the middle tier but my ticket has me in the lower tier, row 5. From what I remember the seat map was mislabelled with lower tier showing as 014, middle as 114 and upper as 214. Anyone else have this issue?

No need for a barcode, it’s not a scan, you open the ticket in your wallet and it beams the ticket details to the reader. You can’t share these by screenshooting them.

City renumbered the lower tier as 0, the middle as 1 and the top as 3. Don't asked me for the logic behind that!

Brilliant - thanks Leisure. So 114 is the middle tier after all. Looking forward to actually being able to see the game!

Do all tickets say adult? My 3 do, but bought 2 kids.

Asking for a friend, who's kid is no longer going, so he was going to visit their ticket office to upgrade to the adult who is now attending :D

Mine don't show anything other than the row and seat number. Not even the block number!
Same as Barlickclaret, mine shows ADULT next to the Man City badge at the top. Further down it shows block, row and seat number.
