I find that underwhelming Kenton. Here we have a club that in recent times has wone the EPL, the FA Cup, and pushed again for a top four slot in the EPL. What has Cifuentes achieved as a manager ?? Also surprised SD has ruled himself out-I would have thought it was an ideal club to rebuild his career at

Leicester may end up with a points deduction next season making it difficult for them. I suspect Dyche doesn’t want to be dealing with that again.

I agree-the threat of points is obviously a deterrent to the likes of Dyche, particularly as some feel it could be close to double figures. Wilder was able to get within a whisker of promotion with Sheff Utd with just two points deducted, but a figure approaching 10 or more might make play-offs the more realistic target. The other great uncertainty at that club is the current owner , the son of Vichai the original owner. Not sure his heart is in it. His parent company has had a turbulent few years and he has allowed Jon Rudge Director of football to largely run it. Their decision making in player recruitment, wages paid, and manager appointments since Rodgers left have been very poor.I suspect Sean has weighed all this up and now having second thoughts

This Cifuestes bloke was placed on 'gardening leave' after we beat them 5-0 at their place last season.

Does that count as 'being sacked after playing Burnley'? for those who keep track of such things?
