Sky comments.
Roy Keane - moment of madness.
Jamie Carragher - Brain Dead.
I agree, Jamie Carragher is brain dead…..

God I hate this game sometimes. And the premier league all the time. It's the inevitability of this crap. You could've put a grand on them getting a goal from somewhere and be certain you'd win
99 times out of a hundred you could put a grand in Liverpool scoring at some point as they batter a team with 10 men!

Hannibal can be measured by his price tag - the more you spend the fewer moments of brain-fart.

We all see things differently, but you’re seeing it incredibly differently to think his arm was anything like in a natural position

Oliver was all over Dubravka all game, Alisson is allowed to take an age at the end of the game, doesn't even get eye contact with him.

Fair enough, will have looked quick in real time but hard to argue from TV. Real conspiracy would be not getting a penalty in that scenario. Shame it takes away from what really was a fantastic performance

Just so frustrating. I don't even think the sending off made a difference but 2 games in a row. Shocking.

I can’t believe anyone thinks there’s any sort of conspiracy here. It’s as nailed on a penalty as you will ever see. Ridiculous from Hannibal. He knows he is in the area, why is he moving his arms anywhere.

Hard to take, but once again we’re our own worst enemies, don’t give a decision to make
The penalty is stone wall. The big issue is Ugochukwu being sent off for two yellows-had he stayed on the chance is Hannibal would not have got on the pitch

Nothing weaker than turning your back on a shot/cross. Let his mates and fans down. We were excellent today. It's been a tough start but we'll make a good scrap of this season

Hannibal showing clearly why Sean Dyche would not allow players to turn their backs on shots and crosses - just invites a penalty opportunity

Just been reading sky and bbc sports football pages and reports. You’d think Salah had the game of his life! The way they are lauding over him for scoring a pen is insane. It shows what we are up against. When we play against these big clubs we are up against everyone. The FA, PGMOL or whatever it is, the media, everyone. The prem is a cesspit and it is only getting worse.

Reminds me of Danny Murphy saying what a magnificent response Man Utd had shown against us last game

These little moments of naivety, inexperience; being harsh ‘stupidity’ will cost us every time.

It’s fine feeling cheated, but we cheated ourselves out of two-points these past two games.

Always the same, isn’t it? They always find a way to ensure the results (that’s how it feels, anyway).
Once again, they always find a way. Whether it’s a penalty or not, I don’t know — but it was always going to be given anyway. Would it have been given the other way around?

Two games, two sets of awful officiating (mainly the first yellow) that ensured the big teams get the rub of the green.

It was a defensive master class from us though. What a performance.

Yes it would have been given at the other end. It was an obvious pen

The penalty is correct, my issue is Hartman being put into the hoardings by I think Bradley for the corner near the end.

It doesn't lead directly to the goal but is still in the same phase of play.

Almost sure it was Frimpong and it was definitely a free kick.

Completely agree re the free kick on Hartman. That was a shocking decision which should also have been a yellow card.

Professionalism has now cost us 2 points in the last 2 games- wonder whether Kyle Walker might now have a few words.

Was it just me or did the rules change about players that the medics come on for needing to leave the pitch for 30 seconds?

We’ll never know as it didn’t happen.

That wasn’t the point I was making though — hence the question. More an observation of what seems like bias in officiating when playing against the big teams.

Common sense may have started to prevail
If a player is injured through a bad/hard tackle then he shouldn't be made to go off as was the case with both players
Wonder what we will see when players feign cramps to waste time

How some people can comment that Hannibal was unlucky is beyond me, no he was stupid absolutely stupid and the comment by Carragher was correct. He cost us today and that’s the bottom line.

Handballs need to go back to only being penalties if they are deliberate.

What are the current rules on encroachment in regard to penalties? If a secondary attacker is well into the penalty area, is the penalty suppose to be retook?

I don't think so. They reinforce that we can compete against anybody in this league. I think you are being too pessimistic

Its if the other player is booked or sent off.

Admittedly I've only found this out post match.
