I've gone for Arsenal on the basis that if I go out the Clarets have had a very good weekend.

Never been happier with going out.
If a last man standing competition was all it took to beat Arsenal, then you should of started one years ago.

The selections have all been received and are now available on the announcement thread at the top of the board.
I have to say that it has got a whole lot easier to do the admin with the reduced numbers left in even though I've missed out on a potential few quid.
Good luck to the last three.

Shows how unpredictable the league is this season that there’s only 3 left after just 4 weeks. I did one with just 14 people last year that ran for 11 weeks!

I'm stunned it has got down to three so quickly but week 2 was astonishing when Fulham's win at Leicester wiped out 42 of us.

Are you going to open another one up as soon as this game finishes? I didn’t take the first game seriously: I fielded my under 23 side.

I thought it wouldn't get serious until about 4 or 5 games in, so I looked at the first 4 fixtures and Fulham's looked a horrible run and they looked dire.
Everton
Leicester
Man City
Liverpool
I thought back against them every week and its happy days, into week 5 I go... their form soon lifted

I'd no idea how long this one was going to run - still don't, the last two could go on for weeks yet. It's proved popular so I think there it might be worth running another once we've got Christmas/New Year and the FA Cup 3rd round out of the way.

With some of the stupid results this season, if the original one was finished this weekend you could probably get another full game done with the 3 games over christmas this season

If I was Lake District Claret I would have a punt on Utd winning ... That way its win win because anything other than a Utd win tonight and he he wins LMS... if Utd win he wins as well and goes into Saturdays hat for LMS...
Just a thought

Nice idea Bosscat, but I'm not a betting man. It must be forty years since I've been into a bookies, and I' ve never bet on line.
I haven't the right temperament for gambling.
I don't regard LMS as gambling, more of a donation to charity.
( that's not to say I'll be giving my winnings to charity if I do win!

)

Yes, it's not been a good day for me. First we lost, then West Ham let me down.
Still, I'm not a bad loser.
Well done, calclaret.

Can I again say a massive thanks to everyone who took part while offering my congratulations to calclaret.
I think we can hopefully run another one during the second half of the season.
