You can’t say McNeill was in no way responsible considering it was his man who ran the length of the pitch and ended up putting the ball in the back of the net.

Anyway there’s not really a need to find a player to blame. Teams score goals. Hope we can respond like we did against Villa.

Even when McNeil was power walking back? We know Dyche expects better from his wingers. I like McNeil but he's having a very poor game today.

McNeil has been awful up front in continently loosing possession and didn't track back faster enough for the goal.

If he doesn't improve he should be subbed.

Yes, BUT in that scenario Pieters should make the tackle early and he didn't. He let Odoi enter the box when he could have stopped him near the edge.

We've not had a shot at goal yet, we have to ask questions of that defence when we have possession.

We've done OK for most of that half, pity about their goal, but it was well worked and finished.

We are well in this game, but yes I agree we do need to test their defence more, if we do that we may well get some joy, because I'm not convinced about their backline whatsoever, but we have to give them something to think about 2nd half.

I've watched it a few times. He sprinted for a couple of seconds and then gave up. Meanwhile he let's a centre half sprint past. As mentioned above McNeil has been very poor considering their tactics to attack his side. He needs to do better. Pieter's gets some stick compared to Taylor not getting forward enough but maybe moments like that are why he stays back more often.

He was definitely trying to get back, but watch the effort from Azpilecueta and watch the effort level from Dwight, one of them definitely wanted it more than the other. I don't think we should scapegoat, but Dwight has to be more aware and try a bit harder there for me. It was a good finish though.

Trouble is, it’s Ashley Barnes that wins most of our free kicks in the opposition half! Vyd’s hasn’t got that in his game unfortunately.

Its a game we shouldnt win anyway. Not ideal for vyds to get a run but needs to start somewhere. Barnes and wood would be ideal today
