Excellent point in the circs...phew.
Couple of posts above cheesed me off :
Kafka Claret ,post 253...when the Clarets are losing 1 0 with a few minutes left try not including the expression 2.0 in your posts !!!
valley claret, post 293...WTF, why would you use the opportunity to praise Lennon to make a ridiculous negative comment about a Claret legend like Scotty Arfield ?!! Weird.

Missed the first 25 minutes, I was at Slimming World.

We rode our luck at times but could and perhaps should have put this one away in the last 5 or 6 minutes. Signs of a good team performance are there given our injury list.

Don't start stressing if we don't beat Man City on Saturday!

We look dangerous, full of fire and magic with Lennon on, nkoudou too. He's absolute class that Lennon, changed the game. Brilliant fight in Burnley tonight, well done, happy

We were lucky not to lose 4 - 1 tonight. 8 games without a win & next week will be 9.

The way we are playing is more like 17th not 7th & before anyone blames injuries, its not 8 games since all the current injuries.

That is why we have progressed i.e. think we have only lost twice to teams below us and both just 1 0.

Our away form has been sensational and remains so despite us struggling to score.

Good job the league table doesn't just include the last eight or nine games eh.

We have been miraculous all season. Just look below us in the league lots of teams can't get a win for weeks on end.

A great fightback and good finish. We were on top for the last 10 minutes and did not allow Newcastle to get out of their own half. Substitutes made a difference with Taylor and Pope outstanding. Newcastle natives in the Hotspur after the match were not happy!

Everyone wants to win. Often, in the prem, a draw is as valuable, as that is the predominant result outside the top six. Keeps everyone in touch. For us top 7 types with a great start, it retains over gap over the rest.

So glad we managed to scab a point to a side that hadn’t won at home since 21st October :o

Happy to get a draw and back up to 7th in the end after a poor performance. People have a right to moan about the performance when they drive all the way to Newcastle and back on work night. We couldn’t string two passes together and just hoofed it all night. Injuries obviously played a big part but we had better attacking options on the bench. One of the worst performance of the season but we kept fighting at least. It would have been a miserable drive home if we lost.

The morning after and I'm still shocked that folk are shocked.
I mentioned at HT that has been us away all season. Hoof it up to the CF and hope it sticks and we get a break. This also gets the ball as far away from our goal as possible. Then late on we change things and look to be more creative. Pragmatic, SD, calls it. I call it successful. It might not be pretty but for a club of our size I'll take it any day.
WELL PLAYED BOYS.
