No shame in being second best. I thought we played ok first half, but all the top sides seem to go up a gear once they get their noses in front. The confidence grows, they try things they wouldn't at 0-0, and they come off.

Never expected the points today.

Chelsea played with pace and dominance. We were always going to have a tough game.

We needed to make better chances on the limited set pieces we had - corner have been disappointing and we haven't really had enough of them to make an impact. No arguments from me - we just need to move on.

Difficult game once they go in front. They're a much better side than Villa. Especially at the ba k. Mind you our forwards have been shoved and dropped all game and got zero from this one sided ref.

We have been a bit poor this half though.

Our inability to retain the ball when in possession means we have to chase the ball more so it`s no wonder we`re knackered, keep the ball better and the legs will last longer
