Even if Beyer can get back fully fit i'm not sure about him in the Prem. A bit lightweight and doesn't make up for it with being really quick.

Is Beyer becoming the latest player to get better the longer he goes without playing?
No, I think the player ratings from our promotion season will back up whats being said. He looked way too good for the level. He struggled in most of the 15 games he played in the prem, along with everyone else. But if anything I think the longer he's been out the more people have forgotten how much ability he has.

Exactly. He struggled in the Prem. It's asking an awful lot for him to get back to and then surpass the level he got to in 2023.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but after so long out, it would be one hell of a comeback for him to get anywhere near that.

I don’t think he struggled in the Prem anywhere near as much as people make out. If you look at the games he started versus the games he missed (pre Esteve), he was a big miss.

Jordan finally back playing football. He's clearly still got a long way to go and the next few days will be crucial to see how his body reacts. But superb news.

From OS:

"One of those [players] being Jordan Beyer, as the German defender featured in the second-half playing in a fixture for the first time since December 2023, after suffering a long-term injury."

Well, he was a very good player, no doubt.

Disagree re him being goof enough. The VK set up hung the back 4+ Trafford out to dry. Beyer is a very good footballer. Would make a very good cd midfielder imo.
It would be be as good as Tarks in midfield?

No. In the Kompany promotion season he was one of the best players I’ve ever seen at that level.

I wasn't talking about championship level.
