Beyer and Ramsey
Re: Beyer and Ramsey
Even if Beyer can get back fully fit i'm not sure about him in the Prem. A bit lightweight and doesn't make up for it with being really quick.

No, I think the player ratings from our promotion season will back up whats being said. He looked way too good for the level. He struggled in most of the 15 games he played in the prem, along with everyone else. But if anything I think the longer he's been out the more people have forgotten how much ability he has.fidelcastro wrote: ↑Fri Jul 11, 2025 11:06 pmIs Beyer becoming the latest player to get better the longer he goes without playing?

Re: Beyer and Ramsey
Exactly. He struggled in the Prem. It's asking an awful lot for him to get back to and then surpass the level he got to in 2023.willsclarets wrote: ↑Fri Jul 11, 2025 11:30 pmNo, I think the player ratings from our promotion season will back up whats being said. I'm not saying it's impossible, but after so long out, it would be one hell of a comeback for him to get anywhere near that.
Re: Beyer and Ramsey
I don’t think he struggled in the Prem anywhere near as much as people make out. If you look at the games he started versus the games he missed (pre Esteve), he was a big miss.
Re: Beyer and Ramsey
Jordan finally back playing football. He's clearly still got a long way to go and the next few days will be crucial to see how his body reacts. But superb news.
From OS:
"One of those [players] being Jordan Beyer, as the German defender featured in the second-half playing in a fixture for the first time since December 2023, after suffering a long-term injury."

When 30 odd ayew spun him like a sixpence & left him for dead my mind was made up from that point onwards he was like a fish out of water in terms of PL.

Re: Beyer and Ramsey
It would be be as good as Tarks in midfield?summitclaret wrote: ↑Fri Jul 11, 2025 11:26 amDisagree re him being goof enough. The VK set up hung the back 4+ Trafford out to dry. Beyer is a very good footballer. Would make a very good cd midfielder imo.

No. In the Kompany promotion season he was one of the best players I’ve ever seen at that level.fidelcastro wrote: ↑Fri Jul 11, 2025 11:06 pmIs Beyer becoming the latest player to get better the longer he goes without playing?
