Dunkirk was plain awful!

Dunkirk was a big disappointment for me also , how did the crashing plane manage to change direction?

Lee and Arsen lost in paradise .

I finished watching "Hacksaw Ridge" at 11.30 Paris time, so I beat the deadline unlike Leicester.
It seems strange nobody had made a film about this incredible story before knowing Hollywood's voracious appetite for "ideas".
Irrespective of what one might think of the man's religious beliefs, Desmond Doss, was an unbelievably brave man. A lot of the critics rubbished it due to the "gore" aspect. Mel Gibson has some beliefs of his own, that are not ones I share, but which mean that the dice were loaded before some critics saw the film.
I would recommend it if only to realise just how incredibly brave some people are and for the fine performance of Andrew Garfield as Doss. I hadn't heard of Garfield before but I won't forget it now.

Worst film was The Last Jedi. I couldn't believe how crap it was. If I hadn't been with my little boy and his mate I'd have walked out.

I have seen most of the films mentioned but the best by far has been
3 Billboards in Ebbing Missouri
Excellent acting was disappointed when it ended

I enjoyed rogue one, more so than the last Jedi.
Dunkirk was a belter. As was hacksaw ridge.
There’s also another I really enjoyed. Robert Redford and Jane Fonda in our souls in the night.
Particularly looking forward to darkest hour in the new year. Oldman is usually excellent so this excites me.
