Re: West Brom tickets
Was 2003 the one on ITV Digital when Lee Hughes tore us apart?
Re: West Brom tickets
We can't score 2, to save our lives,
They always tub us,
They're in shocking form,
Clubs in turmoil,
We can't buy a clean sheet,
WBA 1 Burnley 2 written all over it

Re: West Brom tickets
In one of those away games Simon Garner scored to make the defeat even worse.

More Tix..WBA
Club announces more Tix available online and at ticket office.
Re: 2017/18: West Bromwich Albion v Burnley – Ticket Information
Obviously took another pathetic allocation to start with. Can't believe the WBA fans were desperate for more tickets the way their season has gone. Hopefully got the usual allocation now, believe it's about 2,700.

Block A6 which is one one almost behind the goal. Been in there before so I guess we've asked for extra seats and WBA haven't been selling the ones we didn't take initially.

Last away game I can make it to. Delighted they're back on sale. Bought three yesterday. Expecting the worst, hoping for the best...

And that's one of the grounds where they have very strictly enforced it at times. Went one season and there were an incredible number ejected. Sorry for the choice of words - but they don't have a leg to stand on.

Bump - appears some fans don't know they're back on sale
Re: 2017/18: West Bromwich Albion v Burnley – Ticket Information
There are a few references to The Vine pub but how easy or otherwise is it to walk from the Vine to The Hawthorns? Just checking the map and the only way to walk involves heading for the M5/A41 roundabout, then taking your life in your hands as you attempt to cross an incredibly busy road.WestMidsClaret wrote:Anyone going for a drinkie poo's before the match then the vine is ok for away fans. Are there any safer ways to walk from The Vine?

Re: 2017/18: West Bromwich Albion v Burnley – Ticket Information
I'm driving down but not sure where to park. The Easy Space car park keeps popping up when i do a search and thats not far from the away end but im guessing it is at a charge and won't be easy for a quick getaway.
Anyone with experience of the parking around there with any tips?

When I drove, I just headed to the ground( the main road ) , and on the left were some office spaces that were doing matchday parking at about £5.Somethingfishy wrote:I'm driving down but not sure where to park. It was on the main road, and the only thing I remember was there was a McDonalds about 100 yards down the road.
I couldn't have been much nearer the ground to be honest, afterwards it was a quick right out of the parking place and I was on the motorway in what seemed about 3 minutes.
It was however the Sunday game when we got hammered, so the roads and matchday crowd might have been quieter than a usual Saturday game.
I must add, that they ( the stewards ) sent us back round a different route after the game, and we couldn't cut through the home fans walk ways like we did pre match so the walk back to the car was an extra 5 minutes, literally going around the houses.
Re: 2017/18: West Bromwich Albion v Burnley – Ticket Information
Extra 5 minutes- felt a lot longer last season. We'd parked the other side of the motorway but you cannot turn out of the end and have to walk away from the motorway. Would say at least at 15 minutes.

Re: 2017/18: West Bromwich Albion v Burnley – Ticket Information
We parked in a similar place and will be doing again because of the direction we are going after the game. When you come out of the ground you can wait until they open the gate, it's quicker than walking all the way round.NL Claret wrote:Extra 5 minutes- felt a lot longer last season. Re: 2017/18: West Bromwich Albion v Burnley – Ticket Information
That may be so Tony but it depends when you leave the ground!! We'd had enough after about 65 minutes last season so it would have been a long wait!! It was still locked then. There's a church next to the roundabout which is OK to park on if it's not flooded.ClaretTony wrote:We parked in a similar place and will be doing again because of the direction we are going after the game. Serves you right for being a part-timer! You should have stayed and suffered with the rest of us!NL Claret wrote:That may be so Tony but it depends when you leave the ground!! We'd had enough after about 65 minutes last season so it would have been a long wait!! It was still locked then.

First day back in work after a week in the canaries, horrendous journey down there in the rain, just made it in time for kick off and that was the best part of the day! I still have flash blacks of Ben Mee backing off from Brunt saying there you go, pass it into the corner

Re: 2017/18: West Bromwich Albion v Burnley – Ticket Information
Think it's just one road up heading for that roundabout as far as I can remember. Taxi? £5/6 probably. I'll probably get a taxi up to the ground because I'll have had a few and will probably end up walking towards WolverhamptonBillyblah wrote:There are a few references to The Vine pub but how easy or otherwise is it to walk from the Vine to The Hawthorns? Re: 2017/18: West Bromwich Albion v Burnley – Ticket Information
Went to the Vine years back to meet a Baggie mate, he took us on a route under the motorway and along the railway lines which ends up at the away end of the ground. Don't think it took too long.
After the game, as CT says, wait for them to unlock the gate and walk the same way back.

I always park around the back of the away end, watch the game to the end and usually hit the M5 in 10 "minutes max.
Re: 2017/18: West Bromwich Albion v Burnley – Ticket Information
Thanks for that NL. I've just done a further check on Google Map and sure enough, turn left out of the pub, walk to the end of the street (it's a cul de sac) and there is a footpath signposted 'West Bromwich Parkway' which takes you under the M5. Still haven't quite figured the route adjacent the railway line but I'm working on that!NL Claret wrote:Went to the Vine years back to meet a Baggie mate, he took us on a route under the motorway and along the railway lines which ends up at the away end of the ground. BillyB, yes, the footpath is parallel to the railway line, you'll very probably be amongst lots of Albion fans using this popular route.

I bought two online this morning and opted to collect rather than the normal post with Good Friday making it a close call. I was a bit surprised when I went down to collect and they said they wouldn't be available until tomorrow.
Anyway here's to a win Saturday.

Re: 2017/18: West Bromwich Albion v Burnley – Ticket Information
I literally had the choice of 3 pairs of tickets and a few singles. They'll sell out no doubt by the end of today.Leisure wrote:Not available online now.
My tickets are block A3, which on the stadium seating plan , is the 3rd block along, dead centre behing the goals, so looks like we have taken the full 3,000 allocation, or very close too it.
