Starting to feel sorry for Dyche. He is just ******* in the wind. Deserves a club that supports him in transfer windows.

We tried hard but they must be the most skilful team in world football.
We were playing top of the league, 9 straight wins, I don’t think tonight’s result was a result of lack of transfers

At least it was only 2-0. Bigger fish to fry in the next few weeks. Come on

Might seem high marks after a 2-0 home defeat but we were playing currently the best team in the country
Agreed 100%. I thought we gave much more than in previous meetings

Pope 6 (-1)
Lowton 6
Tarkowski 8* - really solid
Mee 6
Pieters 5
Guðmundsson 5 - frustrating
Westwood 5
Cork 7 - glad to see him back
McNeil 6
Rodriguez 5
Vydra 7 - decent movement

Overall, slightly disappointing again that we fail to test them at all, and seem scared every time we play them, however, improvement on our last few games against them

I'm guessing we rate Stephens since he was on 20 min or more including injury time? Can't understand how people are rating Mumbongo but leaving out Stephens?

All 5
I can’t give players good marks when they stand 10 yards off there players and let them do what they want with the ball.
The only time we made a challenge for the ball was when the subs came on
Hard to watch
I know city are a great team but our players need to have a hard look at themselves, absolutely no effort challenging for the ball
I don’t mind being beat it’s the manner how it happens
Lets hope we turn it around Saturday.
Brighton are on a good spell though

Marked on the assumption that City played well though not certain they will feel that they had to work for it. Would be nice not to give them a goal start

Pope 7 wasn’t a mistake ,nothing he could do with it
Lowton 5 poor and very weak for 1st
Tarks 7
Mee 6
Peters 6
JBG 5
Westwood 6
Cork 6
McNeil 6
Jay 5 no service
Vydra 7 always looking for something

City are possibly the best team in world football on their day and after a v early goal we faced an impossible task . Stuck at it though and our season really starts from now on in. Embarrassing time wasting by Citeh

I guess restricting a dominant Man City to less than 3 is a good result all things considered.

I'll just rate everyone 6 except Vydra who gets 7 for providing our one moment of excitement with an exquisite chest, turn and volley even if it was miles over.
