I also presume now isn't the time to raise the point that the 2 umpires are Yorkies......
What could you possibly be suggesting dande.

Outside the line, hitting the knee roll of a lad who is about 6' 3", while he's 2 yards out of his crease. Other than that, solid shout.

All Lancashire can do is concentrate on winning our game, what happens elsewhere we can't affect.
Wells gone for 0, 9-2.
True but we could really do with them not reaching 350 inside the 110 overs

That second is a disgraceful decision….halfway down the pitch….hits his knee, wide if the stumps. HOW??

Yorkshire getting plenty of tap now, as they allow Notts to get towards Max batting points. 7 bowlers used so far today..... i've heard the Keeper is up next for the "Unacceptable Behaviours"

Well they probably will achieve that, currently 260-3 after 88.
Shame Sibley got out when he did.

15-3 Balderson gone, Abbas causing havoc, and suddenly that 143 isn't looking too bad.
Bowling bonus point for Hampshire. If anybody gets batting bonus points in this game I'll doff my cap to them.

We certainly can't afford to lose any more tonight. And that 50 odd Hampshire's last 3 wickets added could be vital.

25-3 at close, and Blatherwick's done a good hand as night-watchman in hanging around.
168 runs in over 90 overs, and 13 wickets falling on day 1 tells you this is a bowler's paradise.

We're also in the business end of September?

Yes and there's been lots of low scores in September, hence why they should dump this Hundred nonsense and play some proper cricket when it's actually summer, instead of having such important matches being shoehorned into the British autumn weather on wearing pitches.

Absolutely.
The cricket I grew up with, loved & played, is very much an endangered species.

Lancs now 27 for 4, batting not easy on club wickets at this time of year.

Good news Notts 296 all out. So they miss out on a batting bonus point.
Bad news Bohannon has bitten the dust early, 27-4 as Vilas comes to the crease.

Warwickshire 297-7 after wickets fell quickly, maybe they won't reach 350 in 110 overs after all, that would be a boost for both Hampshire or Lancashire.

Crikey 28-5, Blatherwick out, Vilas and Croft have a lot of work ahead if Lancs are to have any chance 2nd innings.

Another batting bonus point for Warwickshire as they've passed the 300 mark.
Yorkshire 8-2 replying to Notts 296.

I think it will take something special for Lancs now. But all they can do is press on to win. If they win and Warks don’t then the ti tile is ours I think

Make that 47/7. I know it's a difficult pitch, but come on that simply isn't good enough from Lancs.
Looks to be between Hampshire or Warwickshire for the title now.

Yes mainly due to Danny Briggs, that puts them in the box seat as it stands.

Sort the batting out and we'll be fine, the bowling is strong, so I don't have any worries in that department.

This pair slowly dragging Lancs back into contention. And they've only put on 29, shows how low scoring this contest is.

Warwickshire firmly in the driving seat with that late rally to get to 350 out of nowhere. They'll win it by half a point at least if they beat Somerset.

Somerset may think it is a 20/20 game they are in
4 x 4s and 1 x 6 in the first 5 overs
