I enjoyed watching that. We looked neat and tidy, they looked more physical and aggressive. First half was pretty even but they turned up the energy in the second half and deservedly won. Their first goal was a quality cross and header, the second a bit of a mess by our defence from a dangerous cross. Our goal was neatly taken and we had one or two well created chances plus Stephens free kick in the first half.
Players that impressed me were Mellon and McGlynn, and particularly Jacob Bedeau (the number 6). Bedeau's covering. last ditch tackles and general play was impressive. Thomas on the other hand was sloppy on a number of occasions. Sam Waller in goal looked pretty safe too, plus a good penalty save.
As with Under 23s, reserves etc., you can't judge a player on one game.

I note the Brian Pilkington Stand and adverts for his estate agents:

I too enjoyed watching it. First time I've seen a live U23 game. Fulham did look a class team but we weren't bereft of ability.
I thought Sam Waller looked pretty good. I like the look of Finlay Armstrong. Only 18 but he looks a player to me. Helm looked good when on the ball as did Tucker but unfortunately it didn't happen enough.
Michael Mellon had two chances: one goal and one situation he created for himself and a shot that the keeper did well to stop.
