Couldn't tell you, I've never been in a Union as it's never interested me so I don't keep track of union laws anywhere.
I'm aware of the semi regular strikes that used to occur, same with France, but other than that I don't delve into Union laws etc.

No need to rely on EU employment law, Britain has it's own legislation and had so prior to entry to the EU in the early 70's that said, a number of our Government's have sought to water down such legislation (anyone remember Margaret Thatcher?).
It's that same culture that resulted in Britain relying on foreign funding to pay for power stations and snap up central London property.
Too little government control of Britain's critical resources and we find ourselves with overseas individuals and organisations attempting to run the show.
