The 7-2 game was when it all kicked off in town after the match near the McD's and Burnley fans got barricaded into Yates by the police whist they got rid of the Sheff Wed fans.

So scumabg lobbed a glass ashtray from the garden over the roof of the small toilet block extension and ended up killing an old lady who's head it landed on walking past the front of the pub. Absolute tragic end to a sh*tty day

With the promotion of Ipswich, Wednesday are now one of only 3/4 genuinely big (tbf probably massive) clubs currently outside the top two divisions. Derby, Bolton and Portsmouth are the only others which spring to mind. There's some potential at a few other clubs, (including Reading and Blackpool from next season) but the vast majority of clubs aren't in the same category as those big boys.

Your memory is v good.
Just checked it to confirm.
Our cause wasn't helped by a stupid red card for Ian Moore early on and an own goal by Gnohere.
It's not mentioned in the report but i seem to recall that Beresford was as hapless as Michopoulos that day.
I also note that an Ashley Westwood scored for the Owls that day, but it couldn't have been "ours" as he would have only been 13.
There were four keepers played on that day and of you added the best bits of all four of them together you still wouldn’t have been able to make a decent one.

Wednesday weren’t good on the day, but we were a risibly abject shambles.

And it rained. At least the 4-7 against Watford was sunny.

Of the 3 teams left I think they are the most likely to finish above Rovers next season so I hope not.
I would have seen Peterborough as relegation fodder, and Bolton and Barnsley little better.
Hopefully an Owls promotion frees up one more relegation spot.
Logical argument.
