Don't know why we don't just splurge £1bn out on players etc and tell all and sundry the accounts are delayed for a decade.
Nowt will happen.
Funnily enough Chelsea are likely to be the next club on the naughty step for irregular, unregistered payments during the Abramovich era - lots of info about it on the MMT

If charges are made and proved (and the same happens with Manchester City) then two of the three most successful domestic clubs of the last decade will have achieved those success by breaking the financial rules and enabling them to get into their recent positions of financial domination - it would make the Premier League no different to Serie A and La Liga in terms of scandal

Think it's been outed as a troll account Florian, quite a few not so factual 'exclusives' I believe. Hope it is right tbh.

Ten point deduction officially announced. They’re bound to appeal though.

we are still bottom after this is applied and an appeals process usually brings a suspension on some if not all of the points deduction - at least in the EFL - this is new territory for the Premier League

True, although I wouldn't describe it as get out of jail free. It will be richly deserved justice if we stay up because of this.

They have waited until it has become irrelevant!!

Each year when it was relevant they would have been relegated. The premier league have held back until Everton were in a position to absorb the points deduction.

I am disgusted but not at all surprised

Points deduction is nothing to do with the Premier League

If we stay up because of this? Their point deduction still leaves them above us . I'm sure with their recent form they will still pick up more points than any of Luton, Sheff Utd or Burnley.

I agree that will most likely be the case as we are useless

Be interesting now to see how they deal with Man City and Chelsea. If the punishments are proportionate to that given to Everton then they could, in theory, both be relegated.

Are they going to deduct Man City 78 points ?
