It’s a shame it is so rigid as it is an interesting bet to place, maybe their not confident of making money on it!
The odds have always been offered on the basis of the NEXT PL manager to leave. Let’s face it 3 or 4 could be gone by Xmas Day. :o

As I have posted on here several times the only odds offered by bookmakers are on the “Next PL Manager to Leave”. The current Sheffield United and Manchester United managers are favourites ahead of Kompany.
Fully aware of what market there is for bets but envy has claimed he’s backed this Xmas market he just seems to be struggling to prove it

No shock to see no screenshot of his bet, maybe he is trying to learn how to photoshop instead of lying

Mate, unlike you who has an average of over 4.5 posts a day or over 9.5K posts in the short time you have been on this forum, some of us have better things to do with our time.
At the moment, in retirement, I am 75% through my PhD so unfortunately I don't have time to respond to your petty accusations.

I suggest you focus on a more important topic as to how our coach is going to get our team out of the pile of manure we are in.

Have a pleasant day.

The odds, were they to be offered, on a PL manager leaving before Xmas would be considerably shorter than those offered for the Next PL Manager to Leave, because a bookmaker could face having to make multiple payouts if Ten Hag, Heckinbottom and VK all departed before the 25 December.
The odds being quoted by ebby are the same as those being offered for the Next Manager to Leave (VK currently 9/1).

Liars know the truth and deny it. Bullshitters don't care about the truth and use random unquantifiable statements to support their views.

He won't be sacked, he shouldn't be sacked, it would be criminal to sack him, these are his players and backroom staff, it simply has to work.

Odds are shortening quite quickly wasn’t it 14/1 last week?

I do find myself wondering just how many of our ‘fans’ are wishing Kompany to fail.

The very fact that he is as big a price as 8/1 implies that the owners are going to stand by their man. Given the position the club are in and the dire run of results VK should be priced up at around 7/4 (the same price as Heckingbottom).

im no expert on betting but doesnt the odds dropping mean someone last week put a fair wedge of money on him going?

If so, if someone again put another wedge on this week wouldnt his odds drop further to something like Heckingbottoms?

These markets are viewed by bookmakers as “novelty markets” and so they tend not to accept large bets on the outcome. The markets are also very sensitive and subject to fluctuations. After beating Burnley the price of Iraola being the next PL manager to leave drifted out to 10/1 but quickly contracted back in to 9/2 after they were thumped 6-1 by Manchester City. Ten Hag remains 5/4 favourite as next PL manager to leave.

It would take about £20 to alter these markets, I just looked on skybet and he is 6/1 4th favourite. The most they will let me have at this price is £42.50.

Quite tough to predict who is going to go next, maybe Iraola? Then Ten Hag then Heck then Kompany.

Seems its skewed in the bookies favour really which is to be expected.

Very difficult to predict unless you were privy to information from inside the boardroom.

My advice is to keep hold of your wedge until a safer looking bet turns up.

Heckingbottom and Iraola picking up positive results this weekend sees VK as low as 7/2 with Coral and Ladbrokes to be the next PL manager to Leave. Just 4/1 on Betfair.

Will Pace part Company with Kompany?

Next two games will probably decide that.

Zero points and I suspect he will be gone

Even if we were playing ok the 3 promoted clubs pretty much as expected look out of their depth - no disgrace in that. Apart from Bournemouth and Forest there were no other clubs to realiscally aim for regardless.

Kompany won't go, they are his players bought to play to a certain way, it would be madness to sack him. In the transfer window some intelligent dealing and as long as we are not to far adrift we might stand a chance. We were relegated after Dyche's first season, it didn't turn out to bad after.

Couldn’t do worse than we are now. He’s got a relatively ok ppg return in the premier league around 1.17

There’s plenty of good mangers about

Was 100/1 on Bet Victor earlier today. Was going to have a tenner on it because it seemed very long odds. Now 12/1 with them. Best price 50/1.

Howe is hopefully a warning to Kompany, not that he needs one, that elite club management is musical chairs. When the time comes I hope he chooses to stay here. City, in a decade, another matter.

Howe I do expect to be potted. Unfairly. Hopefully he will move to England.

Heckingbottom and Iraola picking up positive results this weekend sees VK as low as 7/2 with Coral and Ladbrokes to be the next PL manager to Leave. Just 4/1 on Betfair.

Will Pace part Company with Kompany?
How many days to Christmas? My prediction that VK would not be around by then could well come true.

Sounds like you’re willing him to fail

To me he is another Stevie or Frank. Good players and talkers but cannot manage.

I feel the team is getting stronger and more resilient. Defense is getting on point with Vitinho and O'Shea offering more stability and physical abilities over al dakhil and Roberts who got caught multiple times.

The combination Brownhill - Berge seems to be getting the best out of both players.

The attacking compartment still needs to improve. It's hard though when your best striker suddenly goes missing in South Africa. Up to Koleosho Amdouni and Tresor to show what they can do. Ramsey and Redmond can help us, Obafemi coming back should provide more options. Zaroury and Benson should be able to bring much more as well.

In other words I have no doubt that our team will start picking up points in the near future. We haven't seen anything yet from our attacking players where so far only Foster Koleosho and Ramsey have really played well for short periods. Still alot of margin for progression.

Could you post a link? They would be mad to sack him.
