As i recall, Ekdal wasn't 100% fit then though i might be wrong, but remember something along those lines.CoolClaret wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 2:19 pmHe started at the beginning of the season ahead of Ekdal
What's for sure now is that Ekdal certainly starts ahead
of O'Shea, when fit. And al-dakhil.

Re: Where has the 100m gone
Signing a whole raft of young players from Europe’s lower leagues hoping to transform them into an effective team to challenge in the PL was always a huge gamble.
It was probably only the fact that Vincent Kompany was our manager that gave any credence that the plan may work.

The plan will work but injuries to key players Beyer Benny and Ekdal haven't helped
Re: Where has the 100m gone
Maybe I'm kidding myself but I assumed Ekdal wasn't fully fit. If VK thinks O'Shea is anywhere near the level of Ekdal then we are in trouble!CoolClaret wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 2:19 pmHe started at the beginning of the season ahead of Ekdal

Easy to ask when it’s going wrong, 7m for foster last season looked like we had been ripped off
