I was born in Glasgow in the 1940's and had trials at 3 clubs in the north west of England (namely Blackburn, Bolton & Preston) before signing for a club who had achieved success in the sixties and was to become even stronger in the seventies. I left thefull time professional game for a while but eventually claimed a place in the team in 1970 and went on to win league championship, FA Cup and EUFA cup winners medals. I joined Burnley at a time of struggles at Turf Moor and alongside Steve Kindon prompted an improvement in performances as the Clarets climbed away from the foot of the old second division in 1977-78. The following season my experience was put to good use as Burnley won the Anglo Scottish Cup.
As with previous “who am I’s” I had a nickname at my main club where I won major honours.

Glad you enjoyed doing the quiz. Were you watching the Clarets in that 1966-67 season? Remarkable achievements by the team in those times. I remember seeing the floodlights in the distance from my bedroom window on the night they played Frankfurt Eintracht. I had at that stage never visited Turf Moor.
