My knee was completely buggered at the age of 49, I had my knee replaced in Wrightington, I had had 8 left knee operations on the run up to it from 24 years old. I had a lot of complications and ended up with a DVT and a pulmonary embolism, which was just bad luck, however 14 years on I have zero regrets and my knee is completely pain free. As I said earlier on the thread, just do EXACTLY as the physios say and you'll be reyt as rain, not like smart arse me who did far too much and set himself back!!
