An interesting philosophical conumdrum this one.

Now obviously you can only take so much from stats but it is interesting to see how involved Benson was on Saturday.

In his 10 minutes he had 19 touches, made 9 passes (with 100% completion), 4 crosses (1 completed) and 2 shots.

Compared to Koleosho in 80 minutes he had 52 touches, made 26 passes (with 77% completion), 4 crosses (0 completed) and 2 shots.

And Anthony in 90 minutes he had 53 touches, made 34 passes (with 88% completion), 4 crosses (1 completed) and 0 shots.

An update on Flemming would be good. He will be very useful for us this season.

9 passes backwards (including the short o e putting ER under pressure) 75% of his crosses were ineffective and 2 shots off target (does that include the free kick?). At least getting 1 successful improves on his stats for all of last season.

Didn’t SP say he’d joined in the odd training sesssion ? That doesn’t sound like he’s close to me.

Hope I’m wrong as when he does make the bench it can only be a positive sign that he’s good enough in SP’s eyes to play some kind of role.

I'd be suprised as well , but Agyei made the bench on Saturday after SP merely saying that he was back on the grass last week.

He just looks a neat and tidy winger to me on this showing and a sub appearance vs Cadiz.

Nothing yet to say he’ll make it with us but I’d like to see him get some time if we can get in to good positions in games.

That said, SP must rate him to put him on the bench first game back after injury.

Left footed, plays off the right, might get a chance now Benny is injured again.

We signed him, he went straight out on loan and then did his ACL. I don't think he's kicked a ball for us at any level other than in pre-season.
