Re: Trafford
If he has improved as much as many say on here, he'll be gone in January.
I've seen nothing to convince me he won't be here in February.

Re: Trafford
If I was him with how he was managed by Kompany last season coupled with certain parts of the crowd blaming him for everything I would want to be moving on in Jan
He’s been great this season
And we would have been relegated with Ederson in Net last season

Re: Trafford
Not totally true, our very own Tom Heaton was called up from the Championship.dvalley69 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 10:17 pmYou do realise it's nothing to do with us, actually. He's playing in the Championship. Those not playing in the Premier League never get call-ups. It's because he played for U21s under LC. They need someone they know to be in goal during training. That's as deep as it goes.
You'd assume also the England Goalie coach would be happy with this call up. Obviously. they saw him in the pre world cup get together

Re: Trafford
For large parts of most games he could have walked off and had a chat with someone in the crowd as the fact he's had a lot less to do is massive. He's also clearly been instructed to mix it up more than with Kompany. He seems to kick it long more often than when we were in the Prem so less likely of errors. Still he's doing his job well but swap him with hladky and we'd be likely on the same points.

It's hard to find a negative with this news, but some succeedgetbennyon wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 12:33 pmIf he has improved as much as many say on here, he'll be gone in January.

Re: Trafford
Imagine a world where some Burnley fans are happy that a Burnley player has been called up for his country.
It is a proper hard shift by some to constantly bitch about Trafford, you'd just get another hobby wouldn't you. I can't imagine any other club would have some who seem to go out their way to play down anything he does or achieves.

Re: Trafford
I think my previous post might also come across as a bit negative but it wasn't meant to be. I think he's playing very well just that any weaknesses are less exposed in this division. He also seems happy here and long may that continue. With his age and being English and playing well it's got to be £40 million at least.
