Tarkowski hardly played for us in the Championship.

My gut feeling is he belongs in the top half of the EPL. Effortless across the pitch to sort danger. He'd sort a lot of United's issues out. There's big money to be made from Esteve. It will have been earnt by him as well. He's a good character and done everything we'd want of a young player trying to build a career. He's been the example for what we are trying to do.

I think CJ is too good for Championship and probably low end EPL. I was unconvinced initially but his development has been amazing. Give him a long term deal and make him part of a team that keeps us up there for a few seasons. It might be when we get there, he carries on learning at pace and goes big as well. Sometimes players just need a chance. Same goes the young CM lads from last week. Shelvey/Armstrong or a couple of hungry lads that have a connection with the club?

Keane came on late for Everton yesterday and was promptly at fault for Spurs second goal.

We been blessed with some excellent centre halves over the years Estève is a real class act but still room for improvement that will surely come
but Tarky, Keene and Steve Davis were better because they performed at the top level and very effective in both boxes but imo Colin Waldron was immense in the old 1st Division for years for us also his goal v Preston is legendary. Max said in an interview recently that he needs improve his passing and a need to score a few goals when he does that he could be the next Van Dijk
