Re: 2024/25: Preston North End v Burnley – Cup Ticket Information
Not sure I believe it but seen comments at the weekend that North End haven't sold many more than we have.
With the way they wanted to split the stand we have and fill their ground to make it intimidating thought they would have sold out by now. Must be hard living in a town/city where you can only fill your ground when the local plastics come out the woodwork for Liverpool or Man Utd. They sell more tickets for pre season friendlies.
Still just glad we won't have to endure a hostile ground on Saturday, with an adult banging a drum and another walking round dressed as a duck it was starting to look like it could be a rough experience.

I fully agree with is, I mean over the years its been pretty scary away at places like Millwall, Boro, Leeds, Cardiff and Birmingham but these places are like a walk in the park compared to a fat bloke in a duck costume at deepdale.
The 6k Clarets behind the goal you have been warned.

I reckon we'd have a sold a fair few more. I know a few who were waiting for general sale and have missed out.
Its a great support and fair play to PNE for the pricing

Re: 2024/25: Preston North End v Burnley – Cup Ticket Information
I waited until today (i have well over 2000 pts) as i was going to take my daughter to her first away game. I hadn’t realised i couldnt buy a ticket for her even on general sale using my account so we missed out.
She did have a clarets number (i have no idea what it is) on the old system attached to my account but i haven’t moved her across, so i need to work out how to do that now, so she can attend in the future.

Spoke to a Preston at work this morning and asked if he was going on the game. ‘Nah. I’m not paying 20 quid for a cup game!’claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 12:38 pmNot sure I believe it but seen comments at the weekend that North End haven't sold many more than we have.

I know we're supposed to prioritise the league and the god of Premier League money, but I'm looking forward to this way more than a league match. Good pricing from PNE, u19 for £10 is great.

she's not overly bothered these days though and did let me down the other week for the PNE game to watch her mate play when I'd bought her a ticket

It is great, I agree, but also as it should be!NottsClaret wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 5:12 pmI know we're supposed to prioritise the league and the god of Premier League money, but I'm looking forward to this way more than a league match. Good pricing from PNE, u19 for £10 is great.
Re: 2024/25: Preston North End v Burnley – Cup Ticket Information
Same as me re: i accept it’s my own fault and my daughter had flitted between wanting to go and not, which is why i didn’t just buy two adult tickets (using her uncles pts to get her’s) to avoid the chance of dissapointment on day 1.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 6:25 pmI had the same issue but It's my own fault as id been meaning to sort it,

Pretty sure if you call the ticket office there will be some returns between now and Friday. Not on Wednesday though, it’s closed.KlyBfc wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 4:14 pmI waited until today (i have well over 2000 pts) as i was going to take my daughter to her first away game. Thanks for the advice New Claret, much appreciated but my issue is i don’t know her fan number, and she definitely doesn’t know her own.NewClaret wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 6:31 pmPretty sure if you call the ticket office there will be some returns between now and Friday. Re: 2024/25: Preston North End v Burnley – Cup Ticket Information
If you call the club and give her name, they’ll tell you her clarets number. They’ll probably set her up as a family member on your account too!
Re: 2024/25: Preston North End v Burnley – Cup Ticket Information
No seats available online. Well done Clarets. Perhaps PNE should open up another section for us.

Re: 2024/25: Preston North End v Burnley – Cup Ticket Information
They are a strange club and fanbase.
They don't get involved in promotion chases, never really involved in relegation battles, don't remember them getting far in either Cup (Know the played Man Utd a while back not sure of the round but they managed to sell tickets for that) and now won't pay £20 for the biggest game they have had in years.
Just years and years of nothingness. With the way they go on about us, have as many songs about us as they do and a faint sniff of a trip to Wembley they still won't turn up and support their side.
Hopefully they play Liverpool in a pre-season friendly and they can all turn up

If anybody has a spare adult or child's ticket available, I'll take it, please. Please let me know and I'll add my contact details
Re: 2024/25: Preston North End v Burnley – Cup Ticket Information
Also find it bizarre that PNE fans don`t seem interested. Literally all they have left to keep their season going, not like they`re getting in the playoffs.
Re: 2024/25: Preston North End v Burnley – Cup Ticket Information
Perhaps we're not the big attraction some think we are
To be honest, if the roles were reversed I don't think I'd be spending 20 quid to watch preston

Selling out the same fixture twice within two weeks with an allocation of ~5600 is very impressive. Well done Clarets.
Re: 2024/25: Preston North End v Burnley – Cup Ticket Information
No, I wouldn’t be spending £20 to watch Preston either, I would be spending £20 to see my team have a great chance of an FA Cup quarter final though.

Strange way of looking at it. Good chance of getting to an FA cup quarter final.

Re: 2024/25: Preston North End v Burnley – Cup Ticket Information
The last match was exactly the most exciting so can see why they haven’t sold many. Had the league game have been 2 months ago rather than weeks they’d have sold more.
Re: 2024/25: Preston North End v Burnley – Cup Ticket Information
Not really
Most games attendances for one off games are based on the opposition
Plymouth wouldn't have sold out had they been playing Millwall not Liverpool
Southampton would have sold more against arsenal than they did against us
Roles reversed, Preston at home wouldn't be a big pull for many, not with the kick off time, live on free tv etc.

Yep, I was in the section they gave us in their main stand, interesting all game but half time was like gladiator school, I remember a claret in a kilt mooning the Sheff fans with the police howling…IrkthePurists wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 7:56 amYeah, do a Sheff United and give us another block in the main stand (for those with long memories)

I'll take both if possible?
How many will we take to Deepdale?
No idea on ticket sales but I think anything over 2,500 would be good.

We've sold out so over 5800 I think

Wow! Fair play to our fans.
Re: How many will we take to Deepdale?
Yes, believe it or not the supporters that live in and around the local area and actually attend matches are delighted with the team and what they are achieving this season.
