Personally Im disappointed alwaysaclaret wasn't given the job ahead of Parker. Just think where we would be winning every game. I'm wondering if the club can bring him in for the rest of the season so he can tell the players to disregard parkers style and shoot on sight.
Can you show me where I've mentioned shooting on sight.

I've merely suggested that a shot here and there may have potentially turned twelve 0-0 draws into 3 or 4 wins and put 4/6 points more on the board, and consequently put us in a much stronger position. There's been lot's of occasions where one more pass has yielded sfa, where a shot just now and again when in overwhelmingly good positions would imo have had a great chance of a goal, Jadon Anthony's chance v Derby Tuesday night being just 1 glaring opportunity.

So basically in the games we win the our approach is right but in the games we don't win we just needed the odd extra shot and then we would win.

This formula obviously on applies to us and no other club in the league when they don't win, who knew it was so simple as just have the odd shot here and there.

Burnley 0 Derby 0 14 shots and 4 on target
Burnley 1 Bristol C 0 14 shots and 3 on target
Burnley 5 Cardiff 0 9 shots and 4 on target

Clearly just shooting more and we would be up by now

Without mentioning that the odd shot or 2 more, rather than playing the pass, might have turned the odd 1-0 into another 0-0 draw......

Plenty of situations where the shot is too hasty, e.g. Hannibal vs Derby where a ball to Pires was on in a better position.

Personally though I think the balance is right now but wasn’t in the autumn.

Well that's admittedly very true, but it's the not knowing, and I'm not asking for shoot on site and hasty decisions, but there's been lot's of occasions where we could have taken shots when seemingly in excellent positions to do so, not just willy nilly, as I say, seemingly excellent positions, but yet seem to follow the narrative of one more pass, and more often than not the chance is lost and it fizzles out to nothing because the ball is played in to a crowded area.

Hmmmm ...Flemming and Benson apart most of the shooting I've seen from us belongs in pub football... some of it makes Dean Marney look like Pele.
