170 million in TV money.

Yet people want to keep fleecing the fans.

Absolute melt of an idea.
No surprise there then

We seemed to do ok before the under 22 came a thing
2013 we brought them in, i would think crowds have increased since.

Along with the free tickets for u11s in the family stand.

Do we need to charge more for tickets?

No. Income from tickets is dwarfed by the TV income and prize money in the PL.

It certainly helps.

Personally I think Premier league football attracts more out of town fans and tourists, rather than local families.

We sell out of season tickets, yes many out of towners, me included, but football tourists won't be buying many season tickets.

Funny you should say that; and how wrong you are.

On the dog walk this morning I bumped into (figuratively) a chap I know who is a Fulham supporter. So I complimented him on being at the top of the league for cost of season tickets. We had a bit of a laugh about it and he then dropped this bombshell. For the first home game of the season in the new Riverside Stand, top of the range, access all areas including the swimming pool - and he didn’t mean the Thames - the cost of a ticket is £750. Bargain.

The Fulham figure quoted is for a 4 course lunch at every home game plus seat

Need to be lowering prices for the league cup or paying fans to attend.

One way to alienate the majority of Burnley fans would be to increase prices especially when you have players earning over a £million per year with little chance of them representing the first team.
