if the latter is the case it means he remains here for the time being, BUT he was thinking about it, he was prepared to discuss a move away, that in itself is quite telling. In other words, the mere fact he would open talks with another club shows there is an issue at Burnley he isn't happy about.

Big sam said everton havent spoken to him when asked this morning, so it seems odd that the two main candidates most folk think were in the frame, havent been spoken too for the vacancy ????
I'm happy with my job, but I held talks with McLaren because it was a clear step up and I was feeling ambitious.
I never let my standards of work drop whilst the interviews were ongoing and they still haven't after I found out I didn't get the job.

Allardyce predicted until end of season. Then perhaps they can lure Simeone!
