Most bookies suspend the next manager markets overnight anyway.

It was tweeted onto my time line, but it was originally published 5 hours ago, with no real information. Checking markets again I can see the odds are available but Dyche looks odds on to go according to bookies.

Anyone considered Ian Woan in all this. He may still live in Nottingham (he used to be a neighbour of someone I know) which is 40 minutes NORTH of where I work in Hinckley. A daily journey to Crystal Palace would be a nightmare. Not sure where the other key coach lives
Nottingham to Kettering is nearly 90 minutes

It's ninety mins on the M6.
Just over an hour on the M1/A14.
According to the intershed.
Though going via the M6 seems a trek round the houses.

Is anyone as not arsed about this as I am?
I love Dyche, I think he has been the best Burnley manager of my lifetime, but at the same time, if the Palace job really entices him to leave Burnley then I don't want him here.
Palace are as much of a meh club in premier league terms as we are, ie one **** season away from relegation. They may pay him more but I am guessing we have turned him into a very wealthy man during his tenure here and would continue to do so moving forward.
I also wouldn't be averse to maybe a more attacking mindset in games and someone like Monk or Jaap Stam would be my choice.

Not just me then thank god.
Dyche's done alright but to push on I personally think he needs replacing, don't care if I get shot down for it, it's just my opinion.

Dyche will be out of a job by Christmas if he goes to Palace. He will kill off there flair an they won't run themselves in to the ground for him.
Southampton would be a much better career move for him if Puel goes.

If SD leaves, I would give it a shot to bring in Frank De Boer.
From the Ajax school of football, great pedigree and looking to manage in England.

Dyche is going nowhere. He's never been in the frame for the Palace job, nor has he been for an interview. It's all paper talk. Talk about an overreaction!

We are in the middle of a General Election which is probably the most important in recent years with regard to shaping our future.
I have to find a venue to take my Mum out for Lunch today.
Prioritise my day, politics or family first?
To save any dilema I thought I would check if there was any further development on the Dyche to Palace rumour first

Be a good fit, just looked at oddschecker and not impressed that five of the larger bookies have him as between 1/7 - 1/9, Paddy Power and Betfair are the same company anyway, but surely there is no smoke without fire and I don't believe he will go, but doubting myself now

You're right that there's no smoke without fire. Those bookies' odds clearly, beyond any shadow of doubt, prove that someone has bet on Dyche to be Palace's new manager.

Dyche was 1/9 yesterday and the bookies never get it wrong. The same bookies who never get it wrong have him evens now and Frank De Boer at 2/1 who was 33/1 yesterday.

This comes up every time. Can't remember if it was when Dyche or Howe got the job but there were 3 different odds-on favourites before the appointment was made. They closed the book on Paul Lambert!

The betting odds should be a reflection of the wagers being placed.
De Boer would not have been trading at 33/1 yesterday if any sizeable bets had been placed on him. The fact that he is now trading at much shorter odds reflects some financial interest from punters.
Surely, it is the punters who get it wrong not the bookies as far as the odds are concerned.

Rainieri and Dyche joint favourites at 13/8 with Skybet
De Boer 11/4 so anybody's guess who they'll choose.
